Bricked Micromax Phone, help unlocking boot-loader

TL dr Unrooted Phone bricked,stuck in splash screen, help rooting

My dear tech gurus in desidime, please help me in my dire situation. I have a Micromax Aq4501 which has been functioning well for a while, It is one of the original Android one phones. Recently , probably because of its age, the phone used to get slowed down and used to hang. As a noob, I backed up all my data and hard reset it. ie, getting into recovery mode and wiping user data. This worked for a couple of times until a few days back when the phone refuses to go beyond the boot screen. It is stuck at the android splash screen after the logo is shown for a few seconds. The splash screen keeps moving but that’s it. It doesn’t go beyond. I have searched the internet for hours for a solution and what I found out is that I could install a custom rom after rooting it. But in order to do that I have to have its usb debugging enabled which seems impossible to do without actually accessing the phone and going into settings. Is there anyway I can enable usb debugging/enable adb on a bricked unrooted phone running stock os? I can’t install Adb drivers through my laptop as it doesn’t recognize the phone as it doesnt go beyond the splash screen. Searched Yotube and Xda, no luck. Everyone assumes the phone has been already rooted and bootloader unloacked which is not my case. can anyone help?
