Can I do a jio phone plan recharge on jio dongle?

My plan is about to expire in my jio dongle, i rarely use it now. Next plan 1699 is queued, which I m not planning to use now.
Can i recharge with any of the jio phone plans to kerp the validity and avoid 1699 from activating on its own?
Has anyone done jio phone rc on a dongle?
I don’t mind if data/calls does not work.

recharge with the plan which you desire and activate it before 1699 auto activates afetr expiry of current pack
no jiophone pack doesnt work on any other device as they wil track imei. You can try rooted device and mask the jio phone’s Imei and serial number etc but I still doubt it.
I just recharge ₹149 smartphone plan & it’s work(why not)
U just try with ₹75 or ₹49 plan, & active before current jiofi plan expire, may be it work…
