so i asked one of the axis cc rep to upgrade my card to buzz or axis flipkart cc but that shitty rep upgraded my card AXIS WORLD Privilege Credit Card which i never asked for. the charges are freaking 1770rs /- including GST. the travel benefits are zero use for me

i called the axis cc immediately and fired up on them. the manager took a request and asked me to call them back in a 5 days. i don’t think they will resolve it peacefully

the benefits are good but dam that 1770/- yr charge negates the positives.

That’s what they do. They don’t care about what you have to say.

I received a call from HDFC credit card staff that they are upgrading my card. I said I don’t want to upgrade my existing card. She said ok. Then I got a message that my card has been upgraded. After a couple of days I received a confirmation call. She said, this is a confirmation call for upgrading my card. So I said, I asked previous agent that I don’t want to upgrade my existing card and I am telling you the same. So she started listing all the benefits I will get with new card etc etc. At last, I said I don’t want to upgrade and please cancel this upgrade. She said OK. After a couple of days I got the message that my new card has been dispatched. Received the new card after 4-5 days. joy

Of course you can take legal action if you can prove it. So what proof do you have that you have asked for another card and they provided this one? Any written proof. Any email or form?

You should talk to a lawyer maybe.

Why do u want to take legal action ? Have they denied reversal of charges ? Denied to upgrade to buzz or other card as per yr initial request ?

They have taken a request and asked me to wait 5days then only they can update me on this issue. If they deny to refund the charges then i would like to proceed with legal action

according to them buzz credit card is no more, so they have upgraded my card to whatever option they have, with even asking me. no mail no message no call

The call on which this had happened, must be recorded.
drop an email to principal nodal officer of Axis bank with time and date of call along with the number on which this had happened.

They will definitely look into the matter. Why go directly to legal way, when some top gun can resolve your issue?

ok thanks, i don’t have a call record but one of their rep confirmed that i asked for buzz card in the comments. so they know their own mistake. if they don’t resolve it in next 4 days, i will drop a mail to principal nodal

No need to worry .. they usually reverse those charges and will upgrade as per yr request based on eligibility… They recently goofed up in similar manner with one of my card and it was taken care of after a week or so..

so what did they do teddy? according to them the buzz card is discontinued, so they cant give me that card. do you think they will just give me back my zone or give me the privilege card for free flushed

Thats why I use phones that have auto call recording at OS level. Saves a lot of issues. Whenever any such bank person calls, I start with saying that the call is being recorded. Of course, never agreed to take any Axis bank credit card even though I have a savings account with them for 20 years, since the days of UTI Bank.

I have asked for vistara signature card but they issued vistara platinum….. It took ten days to reissue new card and close the wrong one..

I have buzz card initially…. Then asked to give vistara signature as a new card…they issued platinum… After complaining issued signature but didn’t close platinum… After one more complaint..they closed platinum..

Finally have buzz and vistara signature ..

Got buzz card upgraded to new axis Flipkart card 10 days back… sunglasses
