Today I downloaded the latest version (which I think it’s still in beta mode) and went ahead to get coolwinks 100% amazon pay offer.
But had an unexpected annoyances, as soon as i click proceed to pay it hangs a bit and starts crashing!
Bcz of that on loop crashing, it created another exact same order and cut the cashback offer amount I got for my 1st order! Still clueless on how it created the duplicate order by itself 😲
Contacted their CC and they said the amount for the duplicate order’s refund is initiated n will be be credited to amazon in 7-10 days. So hopefully it gets credited soon.
Anyways apps are scary! Someone here had paytm card details hacked and used it to recharge somebody else’s phone no! And paytm denies itself from any responsibility #shameless
This is why I don’t trust any of them with card details.
Be careful with these apps.
UPDATE : I got full refund today morning. They won my trust, I’m going ahead with my 2nd order for computer glasses. But I’ll be ordering through browser 😅

You can do nothing except waiting for refund. And refund will be done to amazon pay if you paid with Amazon.
And the hacking incident you mentioned happened, as per the victim, on phonepe and not Paytm.
This is exactly what happened with my cousin and she’s bery angry at me… as if I’m coolwinks app developer 😑
So she wrote about her dilemma and they will refund but the refund might take more than 30 days!!

UPDATE : I got full refund today morning. They won my trust, I’m going ahead with my 2nd order for anti glare computer glasses ☺
Cousin got refund this afternoon. She received it in 2 days while the hell did they wrote 30 days or more in their refund policy! Scaring customers unnecessarily like that 😅
Oh wait, they did only said it will be refunded but hopefully the amount will get reflected on amazon pay and not as coolwinks inapp cash.
