Guys I am going to apply for Credit Cards
Checked eligibility at bankbazar
Shortlisted some, need your suggestions for finalization
I will apply one by one HDFC CITI and SBI
1. HDFC Dinners (will apply as many dimmers suggested)
2. CITI Cashback and CITY Rewards which one to select?
3. SBI simply click and simply save which one to select ?
My Latest Credit Score(checked at BB): 834 (two closed loans: 1 Educational loan and 1 consumer loan)
Update 1: Applied for 3 cards: HDFC, SBI, CITI through the Zingoy>bankbazaar>CC route
Update 2: SBI just got approved, others document verification is over but confirmation pending
Update 3: HDFC got approved, CITI pending 
Update 4: CITI also got approved, was some problem with address, took some time to solve.

In Citi, I would suggest to go for Indian Oil card, The sole reason for this is, their reward points can be redeemed for fuel at 1 RP=1 Rupee, where as it is 0.30 for other mode of redemptions and i think this stands true for Rewards as well.
Domestic or International ?
SBI Simply Click all the way, especially for all those purchases you may do online.
@no fpd In the order of chances for approval, apply for SBI SimplyClick, Citi Rewards or Cashback (depending on your usage), and HDFC Diners.
You didn’t mention whether you already have a card or not. I am assuming you don’t and this would be your first time applying for CCs.
Actually I took a loan from Bajaj Finance therefore my CIBIL score is already generated , around 870 (I guess). One of my friend having same salary got rejected from SBI but he got HDFC thatswhy I am considering HDFC first.

my score is 797. though I am always paying my CC bills on time.. why my score is not 900 ?
it is like nobody will get 900 score?
or what is max score a person can get ?
You will see the top scores mainly for people who have a very wide variety of credit products (credit cards, multiple home loans — helps to have one completely paid off already, car loans, etc.) and also a high “credit age”.
I personally know a few very “wealthy” people in their 40s and even their scores are only around 850.
any bank which can provide cc on fd? I dont have any job
and after how many months can I break the fd
All banks should provide. once I asked SBI, they offered me for a CC on FD. but didn’t availed though. It was about 90% of the FD amount or something like that.

Minimum -Maximum : Based on your salary (If you are salaried), Credit History and Credit Utilization Ratio.
If its your first Credit Card, then it will be based on your salary only.
Usually, the credit limit is upto 3 times of your take home salary. But it differs according to diff. banks.
I am getting lifetime free credit card offer every other day from Axis bank should I opt for it
What are the benefits with this account linked credit card
ask them which type of card they are offering you ?
I asked , They told me it is myzone card
No income proof and other conditions as it is offer from bank side

HDFC giving me some confusion
they are insisting for Regalia First
shall I go for it or ask for Diners Rewards or Dinners Premium ?
I may not get/choose Diners black, yearly fees also more for black
my shopping nature is mostly online

am using HDFC moneyback CC now. At the time of application they told its the best card in free cateegry. I was not aware of diners then( i thought it was related to food like sodexo).
And dont take times card. rewards r very less.
In money back i get abt 1.2% CB for online and 0.4% for offline. 
Even now i get calls from hdfc asking abt CC. Then i ask them to cancel moneyback card and issue me diners, then they simply cut the call 
They are not that comfortable to give diners club to ppl as lifetime free card. If u r ready to pay annual fees and if its in slaary limit then u can give it a try. not sure abt regalia but u keep asking abt diners.
@DealSeeker I think all diners offers will be ending this month right, do u still advice to take it as we dont know if they’ll renew the offers or not?
And recently in more and big bazaar i saw many sbi agents requesting(alomost forcing) to take SBI CC. but i was very apprehensive abt it. :/
@no fpd I have heard good reviews about HDFC Regalia First. but Yes, dont know anyone in my small circle who is using others u mentioned.

Applied for a HDFC Card through bank 7 days back, it seems they have lifetime free if we opt for any Auro Pay for a bill. Lets see which card they will offer me.
Update: CITI guy came and collected documents, told that it will be approved
I dont know whether all of them are bluffing or not
as I heard getting first CC is difficult that too CITI
Lets see if I get all 3 (SBI-HDFC-CITI), at one shot

Amazon now accepts Diners Cards. Had added in my Amazon US account. Today, when I placed an order in Amazon India, the card was active.:-}
Finally CITI also got approved.
