Electronics? Mobiles? where?
Have only seen stuff (electronics) related to wfh only on amazon.in, offline not even one electronics shop is open (people are desperately looking to get induction stoves and they’re very hard to get)

Effective from today, the GST on mobile has been increased from 12% to18% by by Govt. So thats a direct 5% increase over previous MRP.

Many people may not be left with their previous jobs or savings to splurge on mobiles like they used to earlier. No jobs + price hike, smartphone industry is going to take a considerable hit.

Yeah. The economy was already in bad shape. Only the mobile market was booming, with these Redmis and Realmes launching one new device everyday, making people feel outdated of their 3 month old phone.

So, alongwith everything else that was already down, even this will be down. Everything else would be further down.

Economy and GDP ke L lagne wale hain.

Mobiles are fundamental to daily life and people have to change every 2-4 years and so there is always market. If the price has increased beyond their budget, you can buy one segment below which still has good specs or buy last gen.
