Domestic flight booking tricks
Does any one know working trick to book domestic flight cheaper prices?
like any specific period,timegap to book before travelling date??
i can see flights in jan month is less than the flights in feb.
pls help as i am trying to book flights from chennai to delhi in feb @ around 10k

Option 2- Buy Cleartrip gift cards at 20-25% off and book tickets (if required in parts)
Option 3- Ixigo 600 cashback
Option 4- Redeem Bank reward points in the form of tickets (useless for recharge)
Option 5- Paytm Flyday offer, if it comes, it shall be good.
Regarding the Fare chart, just keep a check on the ticket prices using Price graph on any website like MMT, ixigo etc.
Prices do come down, but they can go really up too! 
Tip: Clear cache and change IP address in case you feel fares got hiked unreasonably suddenly.
Further, no trick exists. It is just smart buying!

If you want fare alert kind of thing then you can subscribe, there are some website which will send u e-mail alert on price drop on flights u need.
All in all, I would say if you are cent percent sure about the trip, book in advance while using max offers. Its unpredictable.
Additionally, Delhi Airport levies extra charges from Passengers taking off from here.
→ So a flight from Delhi to chennai will be expensive due to more airport charges.
While the return journey would be cheaper.
I would suggest you to choose Jet Airways or Indian Airlines if the prices are similar to Spicejet/Indigo/Go because some food is served free* + lands at the beautiful Terminal 3.

Bro, I might be considered an expert for many things related to travel but I surely am not an expert when it comes to saving money on flight bookings. Above average, at best. The real experts are the traders on DD who loot the offers.
Anyway, I think @19 Female Gurgaon did an an excellent and thorough job of mentioning all the options for you. And I didn’t like the fact that you didn’t acknowledge or thank him for his help. Moreover, when it comes to flight bookings, the offers keep changing and the discount situation is very dynamic. So it’s not like you can be aware of all the best offers at all the times.
With all that out of the way, I did happen to check the one-way fares from Chennai to Delhi for early-Feb and I noticed that the fares are only around 4K. Why did you mention 10K? If more than one person is traveling or you are trying to book the return journey as well, you might want to split the booking in two or more transactions to avail the best discount.
