Don’t want to get into a political or ideological debate, but I happened to taste Parathas made from Patanjali Whole Wheat Atta at a friend’s place and I liked the difference in the taste of the atta. And, as I was told, the Patanjali atta is actually cheaper than other brands like Aashirvaad (what they were using earlier).

I feel bad for people who compare Maggie with alcohol. Alcohol is age restricted above certain age limit.(though teens also ileegally drink it, that’s another thing).
But Maggi is sold as healthy food which is consumed by small kids too.

Second point alocohol cigarettes comes with a health warning but not Maggi.
p.s. I am a Maggi fan. And what I think the reason behind low quality is the pricing. They use to sell it for the same price tag 10rs by comprising weight and quality. We people sometimes avoid the daily products if price is changed and to non standard figure like 11rs or 13rs. So companies try hard to keep the product at 10rs !

Maggi new batch packet price is 12rs so your comment of round figure pricing is illogical .

And second thing According to you Maggi is so cheap and affordable as it is available in 10rs . but see its weight and ingredients and tell me as its cost around 140rs kg . and none of its ingredients cost more than 30rs per kg and 40-50rs per litre in retail market . and if it was really cheap in price in comparison to cost then Maggi never shell money in large no of Advt . from its starting it’s ambassador were Bollywood top most actors . so think practically and logically . earlier people use to think the same thing about cold drink until their real manufacturing cost was known . 10rs bottle cost less than 1rs and marketing promitional expenses earlier were 6-7rs now as it is popular so those expenses are just 3-4rs .

Even a small amount of 60-80ml beer (not more than 80-100ml per day) better and healthier than Maggi .

condition is beer should be pure not local and max intake 100ml per day . but still it is just a comparison and not suggested to drink that too as our food is able to give all needed nutrients .

The new packet costs 12rs dude. The earlier packets were priced at 10 only.

Being familiar with manufacturing business.
The 10 paisa per litre is the ‘mamufacturing cost’ and not which actual cost including materials and resources. It means that, I have the ingredients, bottles and if I give this to some company to make it, they gonna charge it 10paise. (although, fact is they are cheap).

Regarding your comparison of prices of raw material 30rs 40rs n sellin for 140rs.
My one friend is supplier of wheat to one of biggest Atta company. He sells him wheat at 14-18rs/kg( dependin on market.) The same company sells its wheat flour at 38rs(1kg packing) to 28rs(10kg packing).
I hope you have known some ground realities before trying to become a logical and sensible person.

read again your both comments and my 1 comment and try to find meaning , my 1 comment given you answers of both .

cold drinks actual cost is 5-7rs per 12rs bottle and advertisement is huge part of this . so i am just talking about manufacturing cost .
as like some goods are necessary goods some are luxury goods some are mandatory goods , so find difference in each of them ,
luxury goods will always need a lot of advt and their main cost part is shelled in advt only . so we cant comment on how economical they are .
basic cost have 3 parts – raw + labour + overhead expenses. so i am talking only raw + labour cost tofind how economical it is .

Noodles launched by yoga guru Ramdev have no approval, says FSSAI – Source
http://indianexpress.com/article/india/india-ne...

i already read these news today ,
some lime light we missed -
1. most important missing part of entire satireFSSAI Ceo was transferred to Niti Ayog in September after Maggi Ban and just after this Maggi came with ban uplift .
2. So who were saying BJP RSS etc see the reality , parties never miss chance of apna sapna money money .
3. as per new CEO – Patanjali have given License for general grocery commodity and noodles dont falls under it so making noodles they need extra approval , but ramdev saying we have all approvals . so they both will check who is lying .

4. also read this – as per FSSAI they will appeal against uplift of ban . 1 question – WHY Maggi destroyed it entire stock of earlier batch , if they want to test it and if they were 100% sure that the earlier batch have no LEAD and MSG , they destroyed stock of almost 5,00,00,00,000 almost 500 crores , so why a company will destroy its stock and then make a new batch of same product and test the new batch and it get full marks . so you can understand the reason as FSSAI also have doubt on this . the new batch is as planned have no extra LEAD and msg but earlier batch had this .

according to news published on firstpost -
While the Bombay High Court may have given Nestle India and Maggi a lifeline after calling for fresh tests in the next six weeks, the Maggi saga is far from over.
The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) is still convinced about why the ban was imposed on the instant noodles brand. The regulator has maintained that the ban on the product was done after thorough tests on the products, according to a report by the Indian Express, and has questioned Nestle’s extensive disposal of existing Maggi stock.
AFPAFP
Malik also questioned the export clearance given to Maggi by foreign countries saying that the foreign food safety organisations that have given clean chits haven’t specified which batches they were drawn from.
“The US, Australia and New Zealand may have given clean chits but the samples were all drawn from the export facility. We have already requested the UKFDA, which has called India’s Maggi safe, to share with us the details such as when and where the samples were drawn from, the batch of the samples, what factors were considered, what testing protocol was followed and the test results. However, despite three reminders they have not replied.” he said.
The FSSAI chief also said that there was no error in the testing carrying out by its laboratories and also said that Nestle had chosen to not mention the fact that the instant noodles contained MSG.
FSSAI’s response is not the end of worries for Maggi and Nestle India. Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan has said the Bombay High Court’s verdict will not affect the government’s case claiming Rs 640 crore in damages from Nestle for misleading advertisement and unfair trade practices.
Stating that the High Court order would not alter the grounds on which the case has been filed at NCDRC, Food and Consumer Affairs Minister Ram Vilas Paswan said the government would not withdraw its petition. “The decision of the Bombay High Court does not materially alter, either on law or on facts, the grounds urged in our complaint,” Paswan told PTI.
Last week, in a respite for Swiss company Nestle India, the Bombay High Court had observed that principles of natural justice were not followed by the Food Safety Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) and Maharashtra’s Food and Drugs Department (FDA) before imposing the ban.
A division bench of the high court allowed had therefore allowed Nestle to go in for fresh testing to ascertain whether lead content in the popular snack is below permissible limit.
While Maggi has a grace period to get its act together, it remains to be seen how useful this time will be. If FSSAI and Food and Consumer Affairs Ministry’s stand is anything to go by, the road for Maggi’s revival may not end in six weeks.

will you chek rates / prices of 10kg and 5kg as well ??
On Grofers – Aashirvaad Prices – 5KG around 170rs , 10kG around 330rs but Patanjali atta Prices – 5KG 140rs and 10KG 290rs
In Local Market – Aashirvaad Prices after discount – 5KG around 140rs , 10kG around 270rs but Patanjali atta Prices – 5KG 135rs and 10KG 270rs ,
so what you look Sale Price , Discount or MRP or just seeing that MRP is high a concept made in mind that it will be good ??
so what discount you want ?? if one co. inflate MRP and then give 40-50rs discount it looks good or attract us ??
there is no logic in inflating prices and giving discount .
Still Fresh Chakki Atta is best among any of Packed atta .
but in packaged atta aashirvaad gives different taste sometimes , some batches got very bad quality , 85% time it was good but 15% time its taste was too bad , but patanjali always gave same quality .
