Friends,
Majority of you must be knowing what’s happened in Uttrakhand this sunday.
This is just to inform the interested people to donate in Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF). The resources of the PMNRF are utilized primarily to render immediate relief to families of those killed in natural calamities like floods, cyclones and earthquakes, etc. and to the victims of the major accidents and riots.
There is no minimum amount of donation required. Amount should be entered as whole Rupees in a multiple of Rs. 1/-
All contributions towards PMNRF are exempt from Income Tax under section 80(G).
Donating even a single rupee will make a difference
Please come forward to help the affected.

just saw some old and new pictures on india news channel. old pictures show mountain behind the kedarnath temple. also dharam shala, shops and people inside and outside the temple. new pictures are horrifying, mountain is vanished and so also the shops, dharamshalas. there is only mud and debris all over and people may be buried under the debris.
At least there is some focus on Kedarnath and Badrinath/HemKund Sahib……..There is no one(almost) to report for other areas in Chamoli District…….The state govt. is offering Rs. 2700 to people who lost their homes to the horrific tragedy……

……Bahuguna (the CM) decreases the VAT on petrol just before his son goes to byelection and levies VAT again after his son loses…..This is what he is and the other CM too….a number of dam Contracts were cancelled after reports of corruption in allotment (CM Nishank)…..

This is what has been done in the past and has always been done in India.
The point of discussion here was a comment upon the govt regarding doing corruption in the process of the relief work.
THat was what i had a problem with to start with.
