I sold my lenovo a6000+ on ebay on 12th of this month and on 13th I packed it with care using a eBay packet which I receive when I placed order on eBay as I am not a big seller ,I just sell some of my used personal belongings and send the item using first flight. I stay in Guwahati ,Assam and the buyer is from Medak, Hyderabad.
Yesterday he mailed me through eBay and told me that he receive the parcel but no mobile was there inside it. He told me that the security person received the item from courier guy and after that handed it over to him. And he raised eBay guarantee, and also gave me -be feedback.
I also mailed him and eBay regarding this. But now I am not sure what to do? It might be the buyer who is lying or the courier person may have stolen it I don’t have and idea. I told eBay everything clearly all this.
Now I am worried . I think eBay wil give decision in favour of the buyer.
Have anyone faced this type of issue before ?? As this is the first time I am facing it. I sold 2-3 mobiles before but never faced this type of situation .

In future if you do sell, then choose couriers like Fedex,DTDC with transit insurance, Trackon Prime track

Insurance will help in case your parcel gets lost during transit (and thus remain un-trackable ,undelivered)
It will not help in case of such frauds

So in this case Ebay would ask the seller for video of the product before sending package(packing)And i think OP there is no possibility to recover the amount.
Ebay would restrict your account until unless buyer receives his product
I am so confused right now. Hope eBay will investigate the matter in a right way and give the decision in favour of me. Everything is in the hands of eBay now
Ebay favours buyer only, i was also a seller and was very genuine however one crazy buyer after receiving the mobile asked me for replacement, i asked him why after 10 days of usage he wants a replacement ??? He then opened a guarantee claim which was closed in favour of me….
After guarantee claim, escalation department at Ebay opened a Escalation ID and asked me to provide resolution within 48 hours, failing to do so, my account would be restricted….
I talked with buyer, he abused me, after that i stopped using Ebay as a seller
From last 1 year. i have stopped and totally boycotted as a Buyer on Ebay and from last one month my decision to not sell on Ebay has become rigid, I am very happy that Ebay restricted my account although i have lost good amount of $$ however nothing was in my hand except opening new seller account but i thought to completely put full stop on this website as i can’t bear the harassment by buyer and from noobs @ Ebay….
Regarding your case, best of luck buddy but see i am very unconfident that you would be able to recover the money 
Sometimes i think why in India these companies are able to survive when they have untrained customer support, no investigation nothing….
I think all this have been possible because of looters like us, Ek bande ke paas 50-50 accounts hain, jo bhi app, 50-100 ka free recharge de, we just loot that company, create hundreds of accounts and these company survives on goodwill/userbase >>> Series A funding – Series Z funding…….

One of my friends lost Redmi Note and filled and FIR (3 months ago) providing the IMEI number (online FIR)….nothing happened yet …
i m also fraud ed by the buyer on the eBay same type he said the packet is received by security person and there is no mobile in the package he filled the eBay guarantee claim as i have not insured the package i have lost the money about 30k this is around 5 years ago after that i have never sold any item on ebay, now they ask for pod and insurance stating ask for courier company to provide the document with their seal

Ebay is not fool ..
it may take some time , but i tell you 2 things one is correct phn number registered and sec is email .
stay connected with ebay
u will get calls and mails ….
it may take 2-3 months also … but if u regularly mail them and call them , they will surely give u …
i also did the same thing and got my money after 3 months …

Actually I am not sure whom to blame, the courier persons or the buyer. I have mailed first flight courier and they asked me to wait, they are investigating the matter.
Now when I sent the mobile , it’s weight with packing was around 350 gm. Today I asked the buyer to weight all the items he got. He sent me the pic of the weight machine with all the items in it and the weight was around 245 gm. He gave me the pic without any hesitation.
So now I think the buyer is not lying and some courier guys might have stolen it. If now eBay call me then whom I will blame, I don’t know. I am confused what to do?
bro i think buyer is lying have u packed the item properly means the way no one is able to temper with the package
