Ebay PaisaPay guarantee is Fraud

In recent past such complaints against ebay are increasing……though i had personal good experience.

U have to Follow up with seller on routine basis…If already doin…increase the frequency.

Can anything be done to get the refund… 35 days is more than enough time to deliver an item…

ebay guarantee claim is not so good, claim settlement people just want to close it quick without getting into root of problem, i have seen they close cases if your phone is switch off or you din’t pick up, they will not even try twice and case closed.

In your case if you receive item, raise claim of dead on arrival, that may help

I created a topic in Ebay discussion board and the same got deleted… posts on FB page also getting deleted, thankfully desidime is not controlled by them.

Guys please advise what should be done to get the money back…

I got email that refund approved on 13th aug 2012 but i did not got after complaint they r saying v hv given the refund on 15th aug 2012 till now i am crying

Since your friend won’t need the item even if ebay ships it now, I think it would make sense to not accept the shipment if it arrives. That way, you’ll not have to deal with two items, hassles of sending it back. You’ll get your money back from ebay, it may take some time though. Keep all your communication on emails. Don’t waste time dealing on phone.

You may try contacting an online chat agent, and tell him that you’re not able to log a refund request from website because of whatever problems and you want him to raise a refund since it has been so many days since it was ordered. If he does it for you, you’re made. Once it had happened with me, I was not satisfied with the item I received. So I thought I’ll ship it back and get a refund. But I couldn’t raise a refund request online due to some time limit. So the chat agent did it for me. Later I decided not to send the item back but kept it. I had even forgotten about the refund request. After several days, I was surprised to check that ebay had refunded money in my bank account for an items I was supposed to ship back but never did. The amount was about a hundred rupees only though.

I’ve called the seller as well as ebay multiple times regarding refund and everytime they reply the same that they’ll get back in another 24 hours. I had raised the refund request as soon as the shipping deadline was over. The refund request was raised on 27th Dec, and the seller has himself asked to claim for refund as he had not procured the item.

It seems ebay is giving seller another month to ship the item… because as per ebay the seller will ship the item by 16th Jan now…

Is Akosha good enough to handle these idiots… If I opt for a paid service, can I claim for harrassment too… Please advise. It’s a simple case of “Item never Shipped by Seller”

I had never known that ebay can do this, I always believed that ebay is the safest shopping option, but it’s proving to be worst shopping site ever.

I had ordered an HTC One V from I2CWorld on 29th december. On the 31st they said they couldn’t buy it so will be refunding my money. Till now, they haven’t refunded the money nor have they shipped the product. Also, i received an email from ebay India on the 7th of January that the seller has shipped your order. When I tracked the order ID at iccworld, it still says “waiting for item to be received from the seller – dated 30th december”. WTH! What am I supposed to do?!

after 7 days of shipping the order u will be asked whether u receive the product or not? now u can mark not received and refund will be initiated.

Same is the case with me. I have ordered a Pantech Burst and and seller is not answering my queries and questions. Don’t ebay has any feedback form for dealing such type of sellers. All other sites give you a option to cancel your order by urself before shipping. But here ebay is just lacking. You have to literally beg to seller to cancel the order and then refund is a big problem

I also ordered a pantech burst on 6th from i2c . Now i m worried about my order . pls suggest me what to do . They told that they will ship by 16th . i ordered it bcoz the seller has 97% ppsitive response . but now i think i belpng to the rest of the 3%. @OP TELL us what happend to ur order ?

u can only hope that you get your product. i2c will delay your refund if they are not able to buy your product.

I had ordered an HTC One V from i2c on 30th december. they told me they couldnt buy but after 10 days they put a fake tracking no. which is same as my paisapay ID of the transaction (it doesnt update status in iccworld cuz they never received the item in US as it was never purchased ).

I think when we buy anything using GEB an AWB no. is automatically generated in iccworld for tracking the item . and after 10 days if i2c is not able to purchase the item ,it updates the awb no. in ebay to delay refund for another 15 days.
I’m really disappointed by GEB and i2c ,customer care of i2c knows nothing ,she just makes any excuse to justify the status of the item .

I finally received the refund from Ebay… But it’s still a poor service on ebay side as they hold the money for more than a month for no reason.
