Expert's help needed regarding diet for 6 pack abs

I have zero knowledge of diet, calories, protein, carbohydrates. I don’t know what’s all that and how much of that is required for a human body. So experts please give your inputs in detail on that for getting a 6 pack abs.

I go for running in the morning for 20 mins, then I do 2 sets of crunches, 3 sets of each planks and side planks. I can do that with ease for 40 secs. Then 5 two point boxes and 30 secs of mountain climber.
Then I workout during evening at home. Warm up, stretches, 3 sets of dumbbell shoulder press, 2 sets of surynasmaskar type pushup, 2 sets of normal pushups, 2 sets of decline pushups, then few biceps exercises using dumbbells and rods. And recently started barbell squats. then 1 minute of squeezing hand grips. I take 2 days of break during a week.

And now the problem is, since last month my belly has come out little bit which is quite shocking for me https://cdn1.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_eek.gif I can feel my abs beneath this pot belly but it is hidden inside https://cdn2.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_evil.gif I don’t know what’s the reason for this pot belly. I think it might be because of wrong diet. So help me and guide me properly to get rid of this pot belly and get 6 pack abs.

1) I am 5ft9inches tall and weigh 61 kg
2) I normally take Indian desi food daal chaawal sabji , roti. Mostly Lunch with chapaati and dinner with rice.
3) On Wed, Frid, Sunday I have fish and rice in lunch and dinner. And chicken once a month.
4) Sometimes after workout I make normal quacker oats in water with half teaspoon of ghee and nuts. I heard ghee is good for health that’s why I use that. What’s your take on ghee? our athletes like Vijender Singh & Shushil Kumar says ghee is good for health and we should use it in our diet. I am very much confused regarding ghee. So please give ur right inputs on that.
5) I sometimes take 1 hour of nap in afternoon.
6) I don’t eat pizza, burger, pepsi, coke.
7) I drink tea with sugar and milk twice in a day. And I have biscuits with tea or royal toast which is made of wheat flour and yeast which we get in bakeries and Dmart. what about wheat flour
is good for health??
8) I have quit drinking milk as I heard it is the main reason behind getting pimples and acne on face for few people with gene problems. 3 months back I used to take home made lassi with too much sugar and topping of thick malaai waala homemade dahi (curd) twice a day. I took this lassi for 5, 6 months. Is milk beneficial in diet ? does it cause acne and what about dahi and lassi???
9) I sometimes eat Rasgulla, chocolates, ice cream, cream biscuits. Twice or thrice a month. Hopes that’s not a problem.
10) I am planning to take tea without sugar and milk.

Please don’t ask me to take protein powders or supplements as I will not use that. Also don’t recommend me hifi diet which could be costly. Recommend me proper diet which can be easily available and readily available at home and which shouldn’t cost me much. And recommend me foods which should be avoided. Look at Harshvardhan Rane’s Abs. He has great abs and body. https://cdn2.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_smile.gif Right now I want normal abs https://cdn2.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_smile.gif I will surely aim for below abs in future once I eliminate my current fat over my abs https://cdn3.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_wink.gif

If you need expert’s advice on diet, you should meet an expert Dietitian or a Nutritionist. Most hospitals will house a Dietitian.

Regarding 6 packs, 6 packs becomes visible when your body fat percent is around 10% mark. You need to work out a lot to reach that mark.

Although i’m not an expert by any means but i would recommend you to increase intake of proteins. You can go with regular protein rich food such as Chicken breast, lentils( daal) etc.

If u r trying to become a model or actor then you better think about packs else it’s not a good idea, getting 6 packs is an easy task but maintaining packs abs for years is a difficult task,u need to completely avoid carbohydrates to maintain abs for years and you need a personal trainer too which is a costly thing to do,so stay fit and maintain shape that’s enough…

bro just follow the normal diet, avoid all junk food … what ever you are doing is correct, just follow that, you will see the result… overnight nothing is possible. unless you have trainer, specific food for each time… for normal life you dnt need six packs https://cdn3.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_cool.gif

op since your weight is 51 and height is around 5’9" I guess you are already at a low body fat percentage [ and even if you are not you can easily reach around 10-12 bf% mark ]

i will suggest you to keep a strict count on your calorie intake ; reduce fat and carb intake and start doing cardio along with a lot of weighted crunches

Op .. Only problem yr not seeing abs is nutrition and stress ( low sleep, too much workout , mental stress , work stress )
-add resistenc workout ..

-Stop doing cadio daily ..

-Get more protein (tofu, paneer ,eggs ) .. Cut cabs (sugar, bread , wheat , choc , ice cream ,fruits )

- sleep well at Nite

- ghee is awesome .. Don’t stop ..
- change ur workout every 2 weeks

Again m saying some things will work for you and some won’t .. Every body reacts diffrntly BUT nutrition is up most imp ..

At the weight of 61kg and 5’9",you came get your abs become more visible, i am not a nutritionist but i tell advice which work in the real world, just 2-2 sets of pushups? Thats is very less, when i started to focus on fitness, i was just so much focus that i had done pushups 3 times a day and that too for straight 3 months and man, my abrs were clearly visible and the peek i had on the biceps, my friends told me again and again to show them peak, from?0 to 70,thats was the journey of pushups that i completed in that 3 months, there was a burning desire that now i will show all, and in 3 months, my all 6 packs were visible, that time i was able to do 70 pushups just in one set, sometimes i had done pushups 4 times in a day, in morning, after coming from school, after coming from tution, before sleeping, and the lines on chest started to visible in just 3 months, that stretches between the packs, all the abs were visible, i was at the weight of 60 kg and at 5’5",my brother who is of 16,he too builded his body the same way, keep doing pushups, and do army pushups, the weight at you are, i would suggest you just do pushups and dumbell curls(arnold style) for building bicep peaks, and when you will be able to do 80-100 pushups just in one set, then think about abs, base is important, just do army pushups and wide grip pushups, leave all this incline decline for now, first build your base, at your weight it is very easy to get abs, believe me, very easy, and dont stop drinking milk, drink milk even 3 times if you are a veg., first build a strong base and abs will come too with army pushups, dont make things complicated.
