Try hotel Travellers Inn bang opposite CST station. Comparatively budget hotel. Great location. A bus ride costing Rs.10 is all it takes to reach Colaba or Marine Drive.

I too need to book hotel in Mumbai…Mumbai Hotels are too expensive, Other places 3&4 star hotels I used to get around 2000 Rs per day and lesser up to 1500Rs. Now after GST and all cost is high.
Any suggestions for Mumbai stay near to Colaba or Marine Drive ( I hope this is the best place to stay for tour in Mumbai). please Advise.
