Flipkart rejected my delivery what to do?

today’s the Flipkart wishmaster had denied the delivery of my Asus zenfone 5z. I had exchanged my old phone and according to him it should not have any scratches over the screen, it should be in Pristine condition. where is there policy over the exchange page does not say anything like that. please advise as to what to do I am not going to get that offer price back again.

The order status still shows to be delivered by tomorrow Tuesday August 14

Had the same issue.
Talked with with Flipkart CC several times, asked for escalation of issue, argued that I have agreed to Flipkart Exchange terms and not to ekart’s checklist.

My phone old phone was in warranty and after local ekart manager told me that they will not accept phone in any case due to screen issue, I want to phone brand’s service center and told them to fix the display or give me in written that display is intact without any issues. They given me in written.

Also told them that ekart is just a logistics partner, arranged by them, over which I have no control, and delivery boys are not technicians.
How can Flipkart rely on them for Final Decision.

After 20 days, they accepted the phone.

But I agree, their policy is absurd and problem is they don’t mention anything in policy which ekart is expected to check.
They expect new phones in exchange nowadays.

Btw, if you are not in urgent need and if they reject your old phone, you can wait for Xiaomi Poco F1 to launch on 22 August.

Nothing much you can do, at least they should offer the phone without exchange.
But no, they return the phone, waste of resources.
Happened with a friend, talking to customer care didn’t help, they weren’t ready to deliver phone at full price without exchange.

Have gone through the same ordeal during one sale in 2017. Bought one laptop at an amazing deal by exchanging an old laptop. The delivery guy clearly denied to accept the laptop. And I understand the kind of pressure they must be going through from their bosses. He called his boss right in front of me and his boss gave no approval. Spoke around 3-4 times to Flipkart and raised the complaints everywhere it was possible but it was all in vain. I gave up and stopped buying things from Flipkart. smile

Amazon is more liberal when it comes to exchange offers, I exchanged my old laptop on FK
i had to convince the delivery boy very hard to take it, only reason was that the serial number on the laptop had faded due to frequent usage

Yeah flipkart has become too ridiculous these days in terms of exchange and even during pick up for replacement/refunds. That might be due to lots of scams that have been done and they might have got strict guidelines. But some of these things are stupid and waste of resources.

I had ordered one of those recliners which was posted as a loot deal here on DD. The technician came to install but one of the hinges was missing so he packed it, put some stickers on it (confirming its a seal by their installation partner Jeeves) and raised a replacement request. But flipkart again started the process of technician visit on one day to confirm the product is not working and the next day another visit for packing. The guy didn’t come as he had already done it and would call me just to inform (so much waste of resources and possibly a way to siphon off funds to their installation partner?).

Finally when the guys came for pick up their boss asked them to unpack it and count each pieces of the recliner. He also asked them to send pics of each piece and they had to do it. But while repacking all they did was to dump everything inside the box causing cpl of stuff to rip apart. They just didn’t seem to care what happened after they took those pics.

In my case also, delivery boy sent a low resolution photo to local ekart manager who denied exchange to delivery boy based on photo.

He was so arrogant.
After long fight, when flipkart finally asked them to accept the phone. I was more happy for shattering his arrogance than to get the phone.

another call came from Flipkart once again this was regarding the issues raised by the delivery boy against my order. the lady kept saying in favour of ekart and the seller policies and I kept replying that I did not agree to whatever policies they might have had but I only agreed to Flipkart exchange policy by which my phone completely conforms to. Now it feels like a losing battle but I am not going to let them go scot free

lost the battle unfortunately. many incidents of this kinda happening around me. two of my friends got deliveries rejected. This idiot social media lady just cancelled my order after hanging up the phone. My consumer forum complaint still shows under process.

Is it a government supported service so that people have to protest? They are a for profit company who have the right to reject or accept what they want. You are not paying anything to use their online services and if they deem that the product doesn’t comply with their rules they won’t. If you don’t like them don’t shop with them as simple as that. They don’t have monopoly over anything and its a free market.

I am not supporting flipkart in anyway and in fact I order from them only when there are loots and big discount offers. I personally don’t like their after sales services in case of issues and I stick with amazon even if the item costs a bit more.

They are within their rights to accept or reject your old appliance…

Can we only protest against Govt supported services?
All companies are profit companies, so what? There should not be accountability?
They are not paying but costumers ARE.

We need to follow their terms and conditions, and they also need to honor it.

If item is okay as per requirements of exchange offer, they need to take it.
It is not acceptable to block someone’s money and then refund it after many days on whims of delivery person with no technical knowledge. Also, for some, EMI gets triggered which results in loss.

Now they have added that courier partner can reject exchange item on their discretion just to avoid legal consequences, earlier this term was not there.

EKART refused exchange quoting Volume rocker (UP was working, but DOWN wasnt ) So we cant exchange the One Plus One which is ofcourse 4 yrs old
After 4 yrs, how can one’s phone be in pristine condition. They must understand, as long as screen works, and motherboard is good. They will get a salvage value higher than the price offered in exchange.

But I fail to understand how one can keep their 4 yr old phone in pristine condition.
And unfortunately, ASUS IN must instruct Flipkart that they should accept working One Plus phones ( with minor defects) as they want to promote their 5z to One Plus owners.

BUT I HAVE PURCHASED A laptop from amazon with exchange offer. the laptop is in full working condition and all but it was laptop from US, so it has US power plug. will they reject the exchange if the old laptop is from US?
