I thought the increase in GST was applicable only on smartphones.

Do they really delivering products or just taking orders and cancel after few days for money turnover? I was ordered groceries on 14th april and they provided delivery slot yesterday but not delivered yet.

Is it risky buying online after the recent Pizza Hut incident? What precautions are you taking after you receive the package from the delivery person?

There’s always a risk as they say that the virus can survive upto 3 days on cardboard/plastic
FK via Ekart is safe it seems
1. Delivery guys have mask + gloves on
2. No direct contact with the package (there’s a thin polythene cover on top of the package which they remove and slide the package to you)

But this is not the same case with all shipping n delivery companies

This is what I do whenever I get my online orders delivered
1. Have a mask on (using the re-usable wildcraft mask for this purpose)
2. Remove the original product package from the box without touching it
3. Discard the box
4. Use the Dettol disinfectant spray to clean the product with gloves on or use it after 3 days
5. Wash hands for more than 20sec and may be face wash too

Just ask the guy to drop the package at your home and sign on your behalf if needed. Dont interact. Then remove packaging and sterlize or wash the product if necessary. Then do wash your hands properly

In my city ( Red Zone ) even non-essential is not supplied properly. They started pantry for few days but closed in a week.
