even i have to purchase xiaomi xiaoyi ip cam from gearbest,is it genuine site??

Did anyone try this site…. ?? planning to place an order from them…

Thing to note down before buying from foreign sites:
1. Shipping should be with some good courier(Like BLUEDART, DHL, MARKS, Priority Couriers) ,and not local courier like HK post, China post, Indian Post, etc, Reason this couriers do not clear your parcel from customs, once goods are lost then they are lost forever(no claims), in many case they will not give you shipping details once the product reaches destination country, they will take 10-60 days for parcel to get delivered.
2. As a thumb rule any electronic article which is above Rs. 2000 will additionally attach a penalty of Rs. 6000 (Please refer custom law, this is just a thumb rule which are applied to major packages arrives at customs)
3. If you are buying mobile, xbox, or TVs, AC, PS3, Wii, Apple TV, Blah Blah certain similar items then always choose FORWARDER (what is forwarder, suppose i want to buy iphone from amazon.uk which will deliver only in uk and us, i will go on forwarder site buy their plan and provide their UK, US address to amazon, after that forwarder will ship that item to me at my desire location, by clearing all the customs) (search for POP Forwarder and similar for sites on google )
4. Calculation of custom on an article, if you provide invoice which is in foreign currency then they will apply 20% on invoice value in name of wright and some % in name of insurance and then they will calculate tax on it, if you are providing bank statement then they will simply take that value and calculate tax on it no additional addition) (again refer custom law, this was rough example)
5. Custom department are engage whole day, their call center are busy most of time and email conversation will take many days
6. To track an article after arriving india (if shipped by china post, singapore post) please go to here http://www.indiapost.gov.in/articleTrackin...px and put same awb number which was of china post or singapore post previously
7. Indian Post Department will not help in any way if your article is lost by them or burnt by alien or stuck at some city since 60 days.

This are my experience after buying many articles goods less then 1000 rs worth and particularly from aliexpress, alibaba, amazon uk.

I bought 128GB and 64GB pendrives last year from aliexpress. Both were fake items. It took 5 months to receive the items.

And postman charged 500/- as customs duty.

1. The shipping is free..but I would encourage you to opt for a tracking shipping option.
2. No customs.
