However, government support seems to be uncertain too as GHMC officials are also taking donations to support slum-dwellers. “We don’t have specific funds for helping migrant workers. We are reaching out to donors. As of now, donations have helped us feed migrant workers at Nallagandla Bridge, Prem Nagar, Sudarshan Nagar and HCU,” informed an official.

Yeah he will keep doing that till fools keep believing him as if hes a saint and worshiping him. Last year he had the audacity to give 400 crores to 2000 families from his native (not sure how much really reached) but he had not business using tax payers money to do that. They will mismanage and loot govt funds and in these try times they just dont care.

Didn’t he say he will give shoot at sight orders if people don’t respect the lock down? Now shouldn’t he do that to himself and his party people for ditching people in these trying times?

How much does one minute of a Parliament session cost?
Members of Parliament are representative of public to put their problems in front of the leaders of the country. But recent disruption during winter session of the parliament caused the loss of Rs. 144 crore or Rs. 2.5 lakhs/minute to the exchequer. So this wastage of public money raised a serious question on the functioning of the parliament.

Modiji will use the money to buy MLAs of non BJP state governments to help BJP come to power & build bigger offices for BJP across India & spend more on BJP leader rallies. Have u heard any BJP CM/PM giving any freebies like AAP / Congress or JDS SP BSP

I am sure BJP will do that. But the others you mentioned are not giving from their pockets either. It is our money they are using to consolidate their vote bank. Stop talking as if these other parties are giving freebies from their own pocket and earnings. Half the money from those freebies will go to their personal accounts.

There is no evidence that shows freebies have alleviated poverty or improved the quality of life of these underprivileged. Use that money to create sustainable opportunities not use it for vote bank politics.
