I bought a new sim (Airtel TN) yesterday and was told 197 was the minimum I had to recharge for a new sim. I wasn’t sure I wanted a 2nd number so much so didn’t recharge.
But without any spends, I can get incoming SMS now which can be used for OTPs etc. Not sure how long before I stop getting SMS but I hope to get a lot of registrations done by then.
New Update – I recharged My Airtel no. On 14 th Feb for Rs. 49 n just called 2 times n they deducted around RS. 3 … Now today when I try to call… Balance is Zero… I figured out last 3-4 days Calls/SMS nothing is there.. No Deduction is shown as I not use much. Today I ON MY Number to Call it shows Zero Balance.. I called to CC they told u hv utilze on internet…..I said wtf.. in plan already got 100mb tht I not used fully…how can It use on Internet…. Though it Mention that it’s a Dedicated balance on plan so how it b Deduct from Balance… It should b fully Use on calls/sms… They Unable to provide me any Explanation…n said vll refund rs. 37 to Ur account…
Height of Deduction — they even not spare Dedicated Balance also..
Not sure what happened but for future reference also keep in mind that all calls made to 1860 numbers use main balance only no matter how much is there in your secondary balance.
