Yes. But exploitation may cost you your account.

PS: Did twice so far.

ye kaisa user name hai bhai?
(i know, it’s some fun invention term by some kids using terms of Latin root). ;)

X price only for first delivery.
future delivery price = list price on the date/time of despatch minus subscription discount.

@deb3l don’t know if it is ‘exploration’ but a friend regularly ordered diapers and other baby stuff for her kid and those of her sister-in-law (husband’s brother’s kids) for 2-3 years and often due to ‘coupon applicable on first delivery of subscription’ or otherwise lower price, she’d simply create new subscriptions.

yes, Amazon collects tons of users statistics, viewing history, search history, addresses, phone numbers but i do not think skipping deliveries in few months or discarding old subscriptions after one or two deliveries negatively impacts the account level.

yes cancelling orders of items in special deals (Lightening, Flash sales) or refusing or stop and return instructions on FBA items or refusing or even if delivery agent mischief and return of POD order is also seen as a negative.
But in case of Subscriptions, they’ve always (even in U.S.) kept up with free delivery even for normal customers (non Prime accounts) and people routinely select ‘price too high’ ‘i bought it elsewhere’ ’i’ve more than i need’ for reason for cancelling active subscriptions.

by the way, the India site underpaid IT guys or whoever they outsourced it too have done a messy job of this feature. Better to ‘delete’ Sunscriptions from inactive list too. often people keep getting useless notifications for inactive (cancelled) ones too.

also, unlike before the days of Amazon money, when one could ‘choose’ between COD versus Amazon Pay (Gift cards), now subscriptions are auto assigned to APAY during checkout, but again these fools in the software teams have buggy software. Twice thrice ordered despatched as POD and the system never debited Amazon Pay despite balance (forget the loss of 5% cash-back. the issue of payment at the time of delivery isn’t possible for working people who depend on watchman or neighbour).

No price will change according to the availability and current price. You can change or cancel anytime.

Agreed to most of your points. One should exercise enough caution while dealing with Amazon as their analytics is too strong. (They behave lenient in some cases though, purposefully wink)

Its better to avoid experimenting with good old accounts or accounts with enough balances. They allow multiples for a family too. But, if blocked once. You are gone.. lol

centum agree with that. just ‘cause the CSD doesn’t respond curtly doesn’t mean there couldn’t be internal pop-ups or alerts on the user accounts. and even otherwise their software drones can anytime shift one from orange alert to red alert or back in green.

after new laws became effective, which other sellers are brought under Subscription feature, any idea? previously it were Cloudtail, then the later avataar ‘Cloudtail India’ and Olympia Industries, even some other seller for office consumables was added too in 2016-17 for a year plus.
