Hello friends,
How is the after sale support provided for laptop by Acer? I have read a lot of bad incidents with them. Do you have any experience?
Also, many bad reviews are there for their laptops as well, like touchpad doesn’t work sometimes. Have you had those issues?
By the way, how is Asus in customer support?
Any idea about LG? I couldn’t find any reviews regarding LG’s support for laptops.
So in summary:
1. How is Acer’s customer care?
2. How is Acer laptop build quality? Especially Swift 3.
3. How is Asus’s customer care?
3.1 Do they have warranty extension pack?
4. How is LG’s customer care?
I’m staying in Chennai, just in case, if that matters.
Please reply.

Heard third parties are providing support for Asus. Sometimes it’ll take time for the problem to get fixed.
Thanks for the response. KG
Recently logged a ticket to Acer support for non-functional keys.
They replaced the keyboard panel at home.
Ticket was logged a day before warranty was expiring. It took more than a week for the replacement part to arrive.
Thanks for the reply. KG
That’s pretty good service.
In which city are you staying?, just in case if that matters
Additional Info- Lenovo is Worst as laptop ,Support is Awesome as per my experience
Yeah, I too had good experience with Lenovo.
I had used Lenovo for 3.5 years. And had replaced keyboard, it was a good experience
IMO Lenovo provides the best value for money.
But sadly, this time I couldn’t find any good Lenovo laptop. If specs are met, then they would fit a poor display.
these days lenovo laptop are not good, i am using 2 lenovo laptop and hard disk got crashed for both laptop ,ram is 8gb but works like 2gb,cheap quality material may be
I had a good experience with Acer support as well. The HDD was DOA. There’s no longer an Acer authorised service centre in my city. But they had tie-up with a third-party. The whole process didn’t take more than a week. Proximity to their Bangalore HQ might have played a part. When VFM is considered Acer is the outright winner which means some corners have to be cut. That’s where their cheap warranty extension packs come in handy.
Its good to hear positives regarding Lenovo’s customer service as in the past it had widely been regarded as sub-par.
You don’t need to go service centres. Majority of them are outsourced and really suck. If you maintain it physically good then you don’t ever need to visit service center. I have Lenovo laptop btw.. 5 years..
how about DELL and HP service in Mumbai
good .
Asus is one of the best for products as well as for support.
