Keep reading quality articles even if you find it difficult to follow. Just google for the words you are unable to make sense of in the article and try to make a sense of all the sentences in that article. You will be surprised the extent to which it will improve you language skills a month or so later.

While speaking in english Don’t try to translate the words from your mother tongue, else you will end up in searching words and will mess up your sentence while speaking.
So learning new words and practicing it in appropriate sentence will make you confident in speaking.
Read the daily english newspaper and explain the content in english to your near ones.
Correct your mistakes and note it down in a notebook.
All the best plus1

first try to read a lot

read what ?

ans : people tell read editorial and stuff

i say : read what interests you

the things you really like

may be related to your study, hobbies , work, things you wanna be or get involved into , even though those things don’t matter at the moment right now.

don’t try to memorize anything

keep on reading even you don’t understand many words just skip it /ignore it

try to make meaning of those words in context and search sometimes to get to know their meanings bu Googling , but very less often.

when u read a lot u get grasp of the language

then only u can proceed to talking in /use of English as communication language

don’t try too much at once

take things slowly

be regular take breaks as and when u feel

after u while u will get hold of English

watching YouTube videos on your preferred subject of interest regularly will help a lot in getting used too.

Have you ever heard an Italian/Spanish/French/Russian speaking English? They have their accent and they proudly own it. You ll have an Indian accent and it’s nothing to feel ashamed of.
And to be able to express your feelings, you need to be eloquent in your mother tongue. I hurts me, when I see, some English medium students are prohibited to speak in anything other than English or slight Hindi. It’s bad for health, heart and mind.
Know one language properly, i.e. Your mother tongue. Now, whenever you are trying to learn a new language, be it English, Spanish, Italian, try to find words of your familiarity and its translation in the foreign language. That’s what Duolingo does.
For being able to speak fluent English/ for being able to speak English well, you need to be able to understand English. So, start with any YouTube channel based in UK/USA, learn English with Lucy is a great channel, Royal Jordanian, Sara Dietchy etc, watch them without any subtitles. I say, try to watch videos, those are helpful to your career. I will say watch movies, n you end up wasting time. Choose a channel based upon your profession.
Then speak to CC in English. Record the convo using another cellphone. Don’t over do it. 🙂
And to improve grammar, there is a book called Wren and Martin. And for vocabulary use Word power made easy. To be able to read English properly, read The Hindu’s editorials. If you love novels n storybooks, it’s amazing to read ’em. Reading ’em to learn English is purely wastage of time. Rather read textbooks of your syllabus, try find good reputable authors. You ll hit two birds in a single stone.
To test your vocabulary, play

https://cdn0.desidime.com/attachments/photos/619863/medium/Screenshot_20200603-215918.png?1591201772There are couple of more points I want to share.
1) Try to learn to express your feelings in the language you want to learn.
2) You won’t find a partner to practice with always. Ex: me ghar me hun. Aur mere samne ek kitab hai. Me kya bolunga khudko? Wahan ek Kitab hai. Wo thought process, English me lane koshish karo. Aap khud khudko bologe, “There is a book.” We need to train our subconscious in that way. Try to find appropriate words for every thought process you ll possibly have. Example: me pyar karne laga hun. I have started to fall in love with someone. Eise karne se remap hoga. Aur app eise English nai bologe, ex " Bhaiya, wo kya hai naa, bus was coming, its tire got punctured and it toppled." I have seen HRs speak in this thin airy, pretentious voice with a lot of “thikk hai! Acha!” interjections. It’s stupid, you know. It’s bad practice of turning anything into Hinglish. If that’s the case, I am more like, “let’s have a talk in Shudh Hindi.”
3) *The most important thing in the world is to be a good human n tobe able to contribute to humanity, i.e. to have a good career. 🙂
I hope I have helped you. I wish you to have a happy journey in learning English.
