I have no CIBIL Score and no credit history

How can i get my first credit card.

HDFC N CITI rejected my application. salary > 35k

icici told me 20k should be your minimum take home salary for getting a credit card from them.I have just a saving account in HDFC they gave me one lac limit Moneyback credit card . no FD and all …..have only 10k in S/B account. so I m asking you try with HDFC

So the solution is to get a credit card on Fixed deposit (ICICI had this). After about a year, you’ll get calls from almost every bank to try their credit card. do you have to get the card made on FD cancelled to start getting calls from other banks? because I have a card from icici based on fd from 1.5 years. haven’t received a single call yet from any bank yet

Not really. ICICI called me a year after I held this card and offered me a coral credit card with 35k limit. that may be because I used to get around 35k per month in my account every month.
