I added money to my Paytm Wallet but Paytm Gift Voucher purchased

Even I got the same problem now I added money to wallet n it was the gift card tat was purchased WT to do plz can anyone help WT to do???

Fraud paytm just like mobikwik. Doing things without informing in advance. Playstore rating should go down soon.

Kindly suggest I reported the issue.but as of now no resolution received.this never happened whether you pay with debit or credit card..

4000 monthly added to voucher please return my amount…. really it’s not good if you are changing the policy you should tell that to customers first

I was add money 4700 rs to paytm wallet from credit card but they are purchased paytm gift vouchers.
I am unable to transfer this money to bank.

I also added 6000Rs to wallet using CC but it got added to gift voucher but i found out that there are only two ways you can get your money back either you buy gold and sell it then money can be transferred to your bank with just 10 Rs charge or you pay to merchant a/c and get cash from them or get wallet money.

u will receive your money to bank account

I have also the same problem with paytm. When I added money to paytm via cc, it is showing the amount in gift vouchers . How too redeem the amount is a big puzzle. Very bad service I have seen without informing this how did they do. Even though they are charging 3% to transfer the money to our bank. This is a Bad and worst experience I had with paytm. Please everyone raise this issue.

Open a merchant account using ur aadhar card and pan number ..Add your funds from cc to paytm gift voucher then pay gift voucher to paytm merchant account .Now you will get your money on your account by next day no charges will be applicable ..

What about debit card?

Extremely ruthless and unprofessional is how I am going to describe my experience of adding the money to my Paytm account 2 days ago. Post the demonitization era, Paytm was very helpful to manage the shortage of liquid cash and making payments on the fly to most of the vendors and kiosks – was happy to use Paytm, though, offlate the vendors were gradually inclined back to the olds day where they would prefer cash over any other form.

2 days ago, when I added money to the wallet using Paytm app, the money got added to the paytm gift voucher. This happened without any prompt or alert. I was completed unaware that the money was not going to the wallet. In the process, I repeated the process 3-4 times, everytime money was getting added to the gift voucher. If Paytm wanted to do this, they could have done this with proper notification and alerts built in the process. However, Paytm chose to take their Customer for a ride. This is something which bothers me and I am not able to understand the rationale behind this. Hope Paytm bosses takes a note of hundreds (or perhaps thousands) of affected Customers like me and come up with a statement explaining basics alerts were not in place and how they can stop other Customers from going through this inconvenience. This experience with Paytm will definitely make a change in the way I use Paytm going forward.

I added 2000 rs in paytm wallet and money got trapped in paytm gift card, it doen’t allow me to send money to a person.

I again tried sending 1500 to that person by send money option, it ask me to add and send and it deducted 1500 from my card and tranfer got failed.
Money again got deducted from cc and got parked in paytm gift cart. Rs 3500 got stuck in this stupid gift card. Please help me suggest what to do. customer care number is not connecting.

Same thing happened with me, without any intimation they added my amount(5000/-) to paytm vouchers. When option of adding money is through ‘add to wallet’ the amount should be added to wallet not to paytm vouchers. I think this matter should be sent to Electronic/ print media to disclose their fraudulent style money sucker, before they could turn into Nirav Modi or other Fraud tycoons in the market. I guess it could happen soon anytime, because the way they are adding cash back and other benefits, this could happen anytime. I had a talk to a Local News channel(as they could manage big media houses) and they are on their investigation with proofs and other requisites before showing the report. gift voucher balance should be possible to be used for purchase in paytmmall.
this seems to be an attempt to force people towards UPI. they just want to increase their UPI transaction numbers. so reply in kind and switch to other UPI apps like phonepe or tez for sending payments. the only way to hit them is by reducing your use of the app.

when i wrote a hard mail to them, within 10 mins they blocked my account and showing the error message and now I am unable to even see my passbook / paytm vouchers.,.,guyss they are definitely going towards a big scam..now what should I do., my amount stucked now.

Guys I am in Ambala on a business trip… I was out of all my debit balance…so added 30000rs from CC to Paytm so that I can’t transfer it to my bank account… trust me I have 30061 in Paytm.. unable to check out at the hotel I am staying cause when I scan QR Code it’s saying insufficient balance cause wallet balance is 61rs only. I try to send money to my friend but some issue INSUFFICIENT FUNDS. Tried to book my return ticket to Hyderabad flight or train through PAYTM it’s logging out unexpectedly. I feel so sucked and trapped. I am feeling so help less. When I tried to call PAYTM helpline for more than 3 hrs couldn’t even reach a single customer car executive. Someone please help

One thing you guys can do..scan qr code of someone who has a merchant account..you can pay him via paytm giftcard as well..and then ask him to transfer the amount back to you..you will get the amount in your paytm wallet..

U can use this gift voucher money to pay where Paytm is accepted.

Create paytm for business and scan qr code fund will credit into your account..

Send money to other paytm wallet and receive again,after money show in your paytm wallet then send to bank account

I just added 10K amount to paytm to use but it has been taken as Giftcard , Could you please help me on this anyways to get it back or use it.
