i just got a debit card but when i am doing the transaction of rs2500 first online transaction it is failing, i do not know why?, in the login too its showing status active, what should i do know,

if you got card after 16 march than your online txn might be blocked by default. Contact cc.
i got card in feb but not done any transaction i even activated online but still not working
Online transactions are not activated from bank’s end,

Get ur card activated first, u can do it from app itself. Go to debit card → card summary and check whether it is active, if not activate it, ur transaction will go through.
Just reset your ATM pin via the card & your card will become active…I have an IDFC First bank account too so I know this…Until you reset your debit card’s ATM pin via the app, the card will not be active…After you reset the ATM Pin, you will be able to make transactions online…
Also if you are trying to make an international transaction & it’s failing, make sure you have enabled the international transaction in the app/site & set your card’s international limit to make it work worldwide…By-default, IDFC Visa Signature Debit cards come with International usage disabled & the International limit set as zero…
If even after doing all these, you still can’t get it to work, call customer care but be ready to hold for sometime as banks now are operating with limited number of employees…

i have set a pin and the status is showing active still failing in paytm and other websites
You need to contact cc(& by that I mean write email & not call) & ask them to enable online transactions on your card.
I called cc he said everything thing is fine here, when i add money into paytm it says transaction failed do a transaction of rs1500 or less to verify this new card
