Apparently yes. They hv door-to-door service. Quite a few dimers have posted that their experience was satisfactory. The strange thing is Strontium does nt use cheap quality Flash memory neither for memory cards or pen drives (Micron mostly ) . On the contrary u find Sandisk using very slow/aging NAND Flash in their budget pen drives. I get the impression that most of Strontium woes can be attributed to faulty firmware/inadequate QA . But the end result is a bad exp.

Nope,she is abroad & i don’t have mmc so can’t do much now.
After going through this thread I think it won’t be an easy task.

And still these deals are being posted and even promoted to the front page? Well one dimer said he was able to avail warranty last month. But more confirmation is needed. Sandisk makes the best cares coupled with the best after sales services. No need to look elsewhere.

I have almost all memory cards of Strontium made, and it has never disappointed me. Hope best for the future.

I am facing same problem, i bought samsung evo 32 gb from ‘ebay’. But i found memory card is corrupt, ebay customer care said they didnt provide warranty, so i called samsung customer care and they also refuse to take responsibility. What should i do now?
Would u please help me.

I bought a 16gb samsung memory card few days back. I found it corrupted since its first use. It was not detectable on any smartphone or computer. Then I approached nearby samsung care. They told me that memory card cases are handled by some other agencies, they gave me a name called ‘supertron electronics’. When i went to that shop, it was closed. I tried many times but every time I had tough luck. Probably I need to knock the doors of consumer forum, but its not a wise idea!
I was great hater of samsung products from start, I gave this one a try. This incident has just strengthen my theory. I will urge you all not to buy samsung products at least not a MEMORY CARD.

Why Samsung can’t maintain their quality in SD cards

It is Possible to recover the all data from corrupted class 10 card

Boycott samsung memory cards, choose sandisk and Be happy

Atleast SanDisk is far better in these warranty TnC
Buy from anywhere and if any problem occurs call CC n they are at ur service fir replacement without much question
Only question they would ask is ur mail id n they will mail all the details.
Then just send the sd card to the given address n as soon as they receive ur sd card, They will immediately issue a new sd card n send it.

The situation is currently I have more than a dozen Samsung cards being used in my family. Luckily they’re still working fine but I’ll definitely Sandisk only next time…
