Govt has allowed offices, both public and private, to open at 33% strength. Does it seem like a good idea at this time when cases are touching new highs every day? Why have more people on roads (office goers)?

Mostly states are following central guidelines. So many places 33% workforce will be(are) attending office. A good percentage of it can work from home. I personally know many people who have to attend office just for the heck of it and mostly the work that is there can be done from home or can be postponed till later.
Yes. It’s a good idea. I hope they increase 33 to 50 and then 100 soon. May God bless them with some brains
Actually, there is one theory called “herd immunity” . according to that if 60% of the people in a community exposed to a disease, all get immunity to resist that disease slowly ,thus disease will be contained. Seems govt trying to do that by opening liquor shops and offices 😃, that’s it. So,is it a good idea or not ? I am leaving it to your imagination 😉…
60% ~ 800000000 people in India.
Imagine how many will die if 60% get infected
Ussne abhi office aanaa hai nahi to koi fayda nahi…

Bas woh aa jae, Roz offc nikle hum
This herd immunity thing is a delusion. There’s no such thing like that. All the previous pandemics happened 100s of years back & just like now.. ppl with good immune system survived & the weak souls passed away. Those days all pandemics lasted 2-3yrs, some 5-10yrs & ppl used to die continually all those years.. We are just 2 months into the disease & ppl assume herd immunity will occur as if it exists in 1st place. If virus gets into body, diagnose early & intake items that probably could kill the virus & leave the rest to your immune system.
Its not 33% everywhere…its upto state govt discretion
Here in Chennai it is 10%
Edit: I feel they should put hold on all these IT companies (10/33% workforce) until these migrants & stranded people settle ( the situation is very critical right now* )
