Is the site maavaishnodevi.org running a scam

There is this website maavaishnodevi.org, which is supposedly an official website of mata vaishnodevi shrine board, where you can book yatra parchi and helicopter tickets from Katra to Sanjhichhat. In order to use these services you have to register on the website. A few months back I tried to register on the site and got the message “Sorry!!! Your Email or Mobile or System Details is already Registered with us”. I tried with different email ids and phone numbers, but to no avail. I gave up that day thinking it might be a system glitch. Today, I tried again to register, but once again the same thing happened. I searched on the net and found that a lot of people are facing the same problem and there are numerous complaints against them. I tried to call the numbers on the website but they are not reachable.
I doubt it is a glaring case of corruption where the officials have hobnobbed with private tour operators so that common people cannot buy helicopter tickets from the official website and have to buy at higher rates from other operators.
Has any dimer used this site before ? Please let me know if someone has used the services on this website successfully or if someone really succeeds in registering at the site.

I am also facing login problem. If it is system problem, it should be identified & corrected by board. Why not focussing this issue.

Sir ji, just because you can not create an account or log in does not constitute a scam.

Login33 bro, I have used the website twice over a period of 4-5 years. Around 4 years back approx., if you had registered your email / number then that is stored in their database (try to recollect whichever emails/numbers you used before). At that time they had no restrictions on the same IP / mobile number / email etc.
Now in the last couple of years (I think) they have revamped the website and do not allow you to register with same details again. Here by details I mean IP, email & mobile number (all are included)
So if you have forgotten your email / number you used for registration, I’ll suggest you register one in your wife’s name and email. And be sure of logging in using a data card / dynamic IP because only then the IP will change.
As for booking multiple times is concerned you may have to do many registrations and use multiple IPs (probably i’m not sure of that) to do hotel bookings for more than the restricted no. of bookings.
