Friends,

There seems to be a limit for cashback @MobiKwik, which atleast I was not aware of or I did ignore. They have a wallet limit of 10000/- per month for processing CB, which anyways I am yet to breach. I am not clear what kind of limit it is….whether for total transaction or for CB… https://cdn3.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_wink.gif

But, just thought of sharing cos lots of CB offers are currently on and could impact most of us. Refer the response from Mobikwik, which anyways I am going to seek further clarification.

Dear User,

There is limit of 10,000 per month in wallet you have already reached that limit for this month that is why you are unable to add cash back to your wallet.

Be informed this amount will be credited in your wallet next month.

Thank You for choosing MobiKwik
Regards,
MobiKwik Team

With Mobikwik, the limit is for everything. Because mobikwik is basically an add-to-wallet model. It’s difficult if you plan to use it for purchases more than 10K. But with paytm, there is no shopping (on paytm, no idea if they allow it for other sites as well) limit, only for addition and cashback. Please correct me if I’m wrong. https://cdn1.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_smile.gif

Yes both are same except one fact that,
in MobiKwik, Even you’re on other site’s gateway, you gotta add first to wallet, no direct transactions are allowed.
in Paytm, on gateway You can pay directly via cc/dc/INB too for large transactions !

Yep, That’s if you want to pay whole amount via paytm (ofc for getting max cashback)
But what if I pay part from my wallet and rest via DC/CC, Since paytm allows to directly pay via them.
Like i have 10K in my wallet and I pay remaining money via DC/CC on Paytm gateway on partner sites (Ebay for ex) !
Never tried but…

Paytm customer care told me that the max transaction limit is 4K and their system indeed never allowed me to do transactions above 4000 when paying via ccAvenue, regardless of whatever wallet/CC combination I tried. Not sure what the transaction limit is for direct wallet integrations on sites like eBay. Can somebody clarify?
