mts data card merged with reliance 4G?

I got message on MTS phone that CDMA services would be provided only till 30th november

Merger completed. MTS CDMA will be shut down from 1st Dec. The spectrum will be converted to Band 5 LTE in the same way as RCom CDMA was converted last year. RCom is sending porting codes to all MTS users. The codes will remain valid till 31st Dec 2017.

Kachha baniyan, everything of these 2 companies r going to be shut down.

One of My friend using 2 MTS prepaid datacard. Each having 6 gb and 17 gb respectively and the pack expiring on 12nov and 16nov respectively.

He dint get network from 06nov in both the data cards and waited for 3 days. Yesterday only he went to the nearest MTS office and enquired about the issue.

The representatives there also clueless and informs that they also dont know whether the signal will come again or not. It it comes they asked to use it.
They told the same story Reliance bought MTS and even reliance also going to shutdown CDMA and 2g, only Reliance 4G will be working going forward.

So, There is no use in waiting for MTS datacard signal. My friend bought one Jiofi yesterday evening and new jio no. also got activated immediately.

He is using Jiofi now.

My Data card isn’t working since 11th Nov. Customer Care not working.. Emails no replies yet. Data card shows full signal but it is at ‘1x’ . Hardly says connected but doesn’t open anything. Though I Can receive the balance msgs, number checking msgs.
Won’t be paying any bills now..Will switch to Jio.
Last year ,exactly same time my old device got similar problem. Had too buy a new one that too with no warranry. Fraud MTS, made life pathetic. Didn’t have internet for a month then. There were no shops available. Official MTS store was selling Jio sims lol.
Fool RCOM what d heck it will get by js getting the spectrum by mergers?! It won’t have any customers. Existing customers are forced to leave n switch to Jio.
Moreover they won’t have free voice like Jio n too high pricing so forget any new customers.

Didn’t had network for 10 days. Just tried n voila! MTS is working fine. Haven’t paid bill yet. Can continue fr 3 more days, usually services are stopped at 24th day eve if bill isn’t paid.. So can RIP every ounce of data left n then will throw this data card in dump.:-P

They would have kept us calling since 10th day of the month asking about to when I would be making the payment. No such thing this time. No calls. Also, No Double DATA Dhamaal offer this time around. They can’t complain us. They really don’t want d bills to be paid else they wouldn’t have done that.

I would have paid them the OCT bill if they had given a proper service. At max, they will send any bill collection agent to d address. You can just play around wid him.

Yeah was same thing here too. Not sure, how it got connected again. But network isn’t that great since last day, I can browse . Keep losing signal. Day before was awesome, used some 4+ GBs. Though, I am not getting msgs when I try to check d balance. Earlier i was getting msgs even when internet wasn’t there.

Any updates guys? RCOM jerks mailed me 2 months bill. Anybody else got such mail or calls?

Well they js e-mailed me . It was from Reliance, not MTS . No calls or any other communication. Yeah MTS CC is not there. Woh kahenge Reliance ne buy kiya hai so aapko yahan call karna tha.. Whatever, no ones gonna pay these thugs. Just wanted to know whether others have got mails . Check d spam box

I too got the bill from some rcomlive.in. when try reaching to the cc number provided no reply and rcoms support mail also bouncing back. They are planning to loot our money for billing to non used months.
