Hello Dimers.
I am looking for a nice and decent laptop full of power with i5 (5th or 6th generation) at atleast 4 Gb Ram and 500Gb to 1 Tb hard disk, windows 10 and long battery life..
Presently i am using a Sony Vaio from 4yrs.
Its configuration is also good, fresh condition, no problem, its just that am bored with that.
Also suggest if Buying a Mac book will be a good decision or i should go with regular one only..

Thanks I learned a new word today…. motherforever
For the umpteenth time..don’t buy Lenovo. You get what you pay for. You haven’t given a budget but since you mention Mac I assume your budget is good. So get a Dell xps. And remember that the Intel mobile i5 processor isn’t quad core like the desktop variant(a few models are exception). So if your budget is good go for i7 based laptop.

If you don’t use your laptop for gaming… checkout Asus UX305FA range…. best affordable ultrabooks in India. . same specs as a Macbook. If you don’t want to compromise on quality and customer service go ahead and buy a Macbook air(2yr old edition though)
If you want to use it for medium gaming search for laptops with atleast nvidia 860m or 960m graphic card

i find lenovo business laptops (ibm thinkpad ones) quiet robost. provides very good performance n its doesn’t degrade drastically over the years compared to others.

I have tested Lenovo G-series and Y-series but not Thinkpad. As a company I dislike Lenovo. They bought my fav Motorola too. Damn you Lenovo.

+ they bought ibm laptops too.
fyi, ibm has designed hardware for thinkpads specifically for laptops used by ibm only. this high performance design is not available in open market but only has been provided to its own employees.

After having encountered both their laptop and mobile ASSes recently, I have been forced to start disliking them. Will never recommend them again to anyone.

Never even seen a Fujitsu laptop. Cannot comment. There are mixed reviews online.
Lenovo is good as far as it works. But once you face an issue, their service centre will give you nightmares. In fact, I wanted to make a post about their pathetic customer service. Couldn’t do it from a mobile. Will do it once I’m able to access DD from a PC/laptop for a considerable duration.

@rajrocks wrote:This particular model is usually available on eBay for around 22,000rs. When you use a 7% or 9% coupon, then it will become much more cheaper. As i have always used a desktop, so don’t have much of an idea about Laptop. I am searching for a Laptop in the budget range of 25,000rs for mainly browsing & watching movies. But is it possible to get a good mid range laptop at this budget range?? Any good Dell Laptop in this budget?

Don’t buy Fujitsu…no after sale service. Same with Toshiba, Toshiba sells some good laptop abroad but in India it’s a different story. I think you will find an Asus in your budget with i3 processor.
