Hello, I want to buy an AC for room of 12×12. So thought of buying 1.5 ton inverter AC. Now I’m confused between following choices. Can anyone suggest or advice which one to go for? or any other brand. Budget is around 30-32K
1. Whirlpool 1.5 Ton 3 Star Split Inverter AC

or

or

2. Onida 1.5 Ton 3 Star Split Dual Inverter AC- 27999

3. Voltas 1.5 Ton 3 Star Split Inverter AC- 31499

Haha. I know. Even I have a bit leaning towards it, being a tata brand. But thats why I have asked before making the purchase. If someone has used whirlpool or Onida, they can advice.
May I know where do you stay?
Bharuch in Gujarat
Try to buy local. Fk charges installation charges.
Go for Carrier
Tried many stores. All are above 35K except Whirlpool, Onida and Croma. At present offer on icici will nullify the installation charges

This one would be good for you.
Copper condenser, R32 refrigerant, Inverter AC. Plus 10 years of compressor warranty.
Yeah star ratings ki koi value hoti hain, Last year kaa 5 star ratings iss saal ka 3 star hota hain??
Once a Hitachi technician told me
“Any repair to invertor model ACs will cost you a LOT”
Carrier or Hitachi or LG
Are the best…… Comes life long.
LG or Samsung. I don’t trust any other company for AC. Bought Blue Star and Voltas too but their after sale services are not good.
Hitachi…Don’t think twice.
Carrier is also a good option.
We have 3 acs of Hitachi.4.5 years no issue at all
The quality isn’t the same with Hitachi anymore. These used to be at least 20% more expensive than rest of the brands and offered such robustness as well for the price paid but now these cost just as much as what other brands cost as the quality has been degraded quite a bit.
Have two of my relatives who went for Hitachi last year and both repenting. I was inclined towards Hitachi as well but eventually opted out and went for an LG AC.
Crying after seeing this post..we don’t even get full voltage for Tv and AC
buy one with copper and not aluminum
Agreed apart from cu conductor there r many other factors too
Brother go for reliance reliance electronic, buy their own brand ac, i m using last 10 years, no issue, no maintenance except 1 time gas refill.
Also for 12×12 room 1 ton is sufficient. Don’t go for 1.5 ton
Thank you guys for your suggestions. Turned out that I may not be able to run another ac on a single phase line as the house owner is already using ac and we have a common connection. Need to ask an electrician for his opinion first before buying.
Eeh lo kar lo baat 🥴 Saara padaai likhaai thaapp.. Sasuraa batti chalaa gayaa exam time pe! 🥵
Phase has nothing to do with ac. Its the load.
If your approved load is 2kw then only 1 ac should be used at a time. Modern split inverter ac used mere 1kw per ac though.
No no.. If he has single phase line & two acs running, fuse-wire will melt frequently at the junction box. Frequent tripping of MCBs plus voltage fluctuations possible due to carbon deposit at earthing connection at the main pole.
Of the choices I feel Voltas is a good buy but do check details in local market as well. I was there in stores just a week ago and Voltas was offering 10 years warranty on compressor as well for latest models so do cross check about it. Also, do verify about service support from Voltas in Bharuch.
Onida is a big no! These are quite noisy and gives some issues or other. In our home only my bedroom had an LG AC since 10 years and rest of the 3 bedrooms all have Onida AC, hate all of them! Fell for their marketing jargon back then and booked all three at once (stupid me). These are around 6 to 7 years old so not sure if they improved their ACs now.
In small towns/cities I recommend going for more widespread consumer brands such as Samsung/LG etc as they have extensive service support across India. Or just enquire with local stores as well as to which brand ACs sell faster in general.
I am using Micromax and LLyod 1.5tonn split AC from 3 years, and till now no problem faced so far. And i got both these AC under Rs.30k that time
Option mein naa Voltas nahin denaa chahiye. Dekhna ab sab Voltas hi bolenge, har thread mein yehi hota hai 😁
