what if i add via debit card?

Just now I added money in paytm wallet but they went into Gift Voucher, now what to do, how to get back those money, i added from Credit card

I am not even able to buy paytm gift voucher using credit card.

Oh god don’t know what should i do, i wanted to transfer 25k to friend but got stuck in this mess.

Faced the same problem.After adding money to the wallet using CC,the amount is used to purchase a gift card.Know I don’t know how can I utilized that huge amount (Rs.5000/-). They should have blocked the card instead of purchasing gift voucher.What is their problem?

Same situation happen to me as well. I have added Rs.5500/- to my Paytm Walltet thoruth CC and wanted to trasfer the money to friend account, but it was added to Paytm Gift Vouchar.
This stupid idiot Paytm guys why are they accepting credit cards for wallet balance,
First place they only provided the CC option to convert the CC wallet money to Bank account and suddenly they disabled it.
We all have to log a consumer complaint against them and then will get back the money.

first in place why are they allowing CC wallet adding option. they have to disable that then no one will able to add it.

Hello Guys, I have faced the same issue but i have some thing great ( but bit costly ) to transfer the amount back in bank account,
all you need to do is buy gold, if required urgently sell it the amount will be credited in your bank account or wait till the price of the gold rises………..IMPS charge are 10 RS extra……………

I think we should lodge a complaint against PayTM. How can they take such a big step without informing its customers?

I have transferred the money from Cc. It has gone to paytm voucher…..this is not the way of deducting the amount…… Please reverse back the my wallet… It’s urgent

The same issue is also facing bro. what is the solution? am calling much time in customer care not picking the call they telling to type transaction ID but i got two transaction Id for this transferring 20000 amount. Amount added to gift voucher. Very bad paytm customer services.

Paytm has cheated their users by forcefully getting the gift vouchers recharged. Earlier nobody was buying gift vouchers, its a pathetic move and paytm should give users an option to send that amount back to paytm wallet rather than forcing users to use gift vouchers for shopping… ###paytm will loose its creadibility and market for sure.

We can’t pay to merchant too if we add money via cc? Pay Via scan or mobile number is possible with this gift voucher?

Today I added 5000/- to my wallet but to my surprise it got added to Paytm gift voucher instead. I was not aware of this voucher thing before. This is pure cheating. You try to add 5000/- to your wallet and it gets added to paytm gift vouchers? I didn’t know how to get back this money. Luckily I had three unpaid landline bills worth 5000/- I paid them all through this gift voucher. Also you can’t even pay this gift voucher money to another friend/mobile number. Looks like they have lost their mind after seeing Whatsapp Payment.

I added money from my credit card can I got sent to Paytm voucher balance and now Paytm refuses to give a refund or send the money to my bank account. This is a scam I purchased wallet balance and I am getting something else instantly Paytm is trying to scam us. I need a refund I am not using Paytm anymore f U Paytm. Are there any laws search practices. If I purchase owner item and I get something else which is not similar I guess that’s a scam

Request them to refund that money. I have heard that they are refunding money. Since I have already paid my bills through that gift voucher I can’t test it.
