Launch time is 8.30 and its an online only event.
OP 8Pro at $899 + taxes in US, assuming an average of 8% sales tax in US the price in $ would be $971 which translates to approximately INR 74000. Assuming we get some special pricing because of tax benefits I don’t think the base variant of OP 8 Pro would be any cheaper than 65k here in India. Especially considering the fact that GST on mobile phones has been raised from 12% to 18% now.
Going by the same logic, OP8 might be 50k to 52k at best.
If I am wrong and the prices are actually as per the leaked image above it would be a highly aggressive pricing by OP in India compared to global markets.
Shouldn’t compare USA prices with Indian prices.
Indian prices are more likely to be in line with China prices.
It is launching in China on 16th, so we will get a better idea of Indian pricing then.

As someone rightly said, if you can get an OP 7 Pro used one on OLX for 25k it would be a great buy. OP was anyways offering 2 years warranty as an offer on most days so even the used OP 7 Pro that we can get would be under warranty
44k for the base variant is a bit too much (OP8)
+ I don’t think there will be Indian launch / price announcement (even if they do globally) considering the rumors of lockdown extension
