I am doing an assignment on Islam and have to write 4-5 opinions of Muslims about how they live their daily life, what religious practices they follow and their beliefs and customs and similar questions.
I don’t have any Muslim friends whom I could ask. So I thought I should ask here. Please give your views and opinions. You can give in brief. I just want general answers. Nothing serious or political.

Well, I’m not sure if I fit into the general definition of Muslim. But as per my passport, and other govt documents my religion is still Muslim
Can you be more specific about the questions? I can give answers for that
Questions like- What do you do in daily routine? For example,
I would say I don’t do much except ask pray to God when I actually need His help. I follow what my family asks me to do in community, I have a free will and I am very liberal in my attitude.
I mix with other people easily and celebrate all festivals with friends.
I don’t wear clothes which can show a caste or community.
My family is very liberal too.

ha, just like any other guy in his twenties. Wake up at ~10 and get ready for office. There might be a very small percentage of people who wake up at subah and pray. I might be overconfident, But I don’t pray often unless I’m absolutely trapped. Yeah, I do visit Masjid on Friday’s for Juma; but that’s just for meeting few friends. Regardless, I party hard on Friday nights
>I mix with other people easily and celebrate all festivals with friends.
I have a habit of questioning certain things like wastage money and resources. Selective, still I usually celebrate all of those festivals. I don’t mind joining for food and drinks. The last Dussehra was awesome for me.
>I don’t wear clothes which can show a caste or community.
I wear clothes to show class, not caste or religion
>My family is very liberal too
Liberal relative but my family is liberal compared to the conservatives.
>don’t have any Muslim friends whom I could ask
Why you don’t have any muslim friends?
There are just 2-3 Muslim boys in my class and they don’t attend classes regularly. Most of my friends are made in the class who meet me frequently.

Actually very few students come, not just them. Many are busy in coaching for CAT etc.
Basically, Muslims believe in oneness of God and believe that prophet Mohammed (PBUH) was last prophet on the face of this earth, there are other messengers like Jesus, Moses, etc..they believe in all.
They follow Quran as their holy book (book of God), they believe in other holy books too which were sent for previous prophets, Psalms, Gosphel, Torah.
They have five mandatory responsibilities also called as pillars of Islam, out of which 1 is applicable only if they can afford, those are.
1 Shahada: Faith in oneness of God and Prophet Mohammed(PBUH).
2 Salat: Five daily Prayers.
3 Zakāt: Charity ( If they are in state to give).
4 Sawm: Fasting in the month of Ramzan.
5 Hajj: Pilgrimage to Mecca. (if they can afford)
Other things would be, Muslims follow the teachings of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH), they believe in angels, unseen.
They also believe in Resurrection (Day of Judgement).
Their daily life would be same as any other Human being, the difference would be their belief, praying Salah, and following the teachings of Prophet Mohammed(PBUH).
