Finally Paytm started 24*7 customer care call centre.
However the same is not toll free.

I could finally talk to a human being belonging to their organisation after a long hold. He said things will improve as they have just started customer care. What was most annoying was the continuous IVR message – Please wait while we connect to the cc executive. No pause. No music. Same message looped continously. If paytm improves their customer care experience they could go places. Unfortunately they are so poor in email response and it’s TAT.
They had to do it someday and here they are.. Hope they start the service in real sense as dimers are still not able to connect them

not tried in past 1 or 2 months. But previous experience has been, that they ARE smart and fully aware of what they are doing. That old 99 _ _ 1234 EPBAX is somehow linked live with transaction server. And umpteen times saw this, that only order# of a specific nature and calling number# are scanned after the basic IVR and the agent waitlist of calls prioritised.

also, all customers of Liveperson and Zendesk get beautiful CRM solutions. So i think their email tracking (resolution and agent rating by customer) is at par with any. Uber and Paytm are two customers of Zendesk but (i) have only interacted with Paytm.
Even in mails, places like Jasper and One97 only respond first to communication from within the user account after logging in.
is the old number dysfunctional now? (the one that was mentioned as sellers contact on every Invoice).
