Friends – Would like to share one experience with you.

I recently cancelled ticket from Paytm wherein it was clearly mentioned in the cancellation policy if I cancel the ticket before 48hrs I would get 90% refund same terms was there in the soft copy of ticket in below section, I have both the screenshots. When I try to cancel the ticket it was showing 1550 Rs which was 50% of 3100 Rs. I immediately called their travel desk phone wherein initially that guy says the amount 1550 is correct but when I escalated it to the supervisor he accepted the mistake and says you will get 90% refund as its decided by operator. But on the final page it was showing 1550 I waited that night and shockingly in the morning the refund was showing 300 Rs that is only 10%, I again called CC and his supervisor almost the call was there for 1 hr but they couldnt find reason and concluded I should have got 90% but the amount is decided by operator. With no choice I cancelled the ticket and got only 10% refund and 2700 Rs has gone. I am still talking with them but they are showing they are not getting my issue or may be disconnecting the call (happened thrice for holding/talking 1hr). I threatened them to take this issue to the consumer forum.

Meanwhile, I googled consumer court and found below link on top in the search-

I thought many people raised paytm complaints, So raised my complaints and provided details whatever form asked.

Today I got a call stating – I am calling from paytm and providing you your full refund and he was asking me bank details/cards etc. It alerted me because it was from mobile (9129943953) where truecaller showing Customer Care Deepak (Bank Fraud). I some how refused to provide details and disconnected his 5-6 calls later. He was showing hurry. Meaning the site provided details to that guy or he has take the details from that site.

Just be alert smile

You haven’t mentioned date and time of cancellations and departure.
Also mention whether it was a bus ticket or flight ticket.

You are from paytm? departure 28 Dec and cancellation 25 dec.

I have mentioned its bus.

Once i complaint on fb paytm page for some issue, got similar kind of call. I got almost trapped, but luckily no paytm balance was there in my wallet & then I realized that he is fraud….
