Always keep an eye on the rating of the seller, that’s the main thing. Refurbished phones if sold by a top rated seller is safe to buy.

ebay+refurbished is a disaster, now you bought it good luck.
This mobile will run out of memory(8GB) and all the time you need to uninstall some app to make space for new app.
I had similar one from Micromax..horrible

This one is used, not refurbished more like it is Seller Refurbished
1. “This product comes with 6 Months Manufacturer or Brand warranty. Exact date of the warranty starts from the first buyer of the product and hence, the product might have more than 6 Months warranty or less than 6 Months warranty. In very rare cases, the warranty of the product might got expired and we request buyer to contact us in that case with service center letterhead stating that the product is “Out of Warranty”.

2. This product is returned by first buyer of the product to the manufacturer of maximum 3 to 4 days use and sold as an “Open Box” or “Unboxed” unit by the manufacturer to different retailer under Manufacturer Warranty.

And 1 and 2 points are contradicting each other, how come a 6month+ old phone be unboxed or seal opened?
These are most likely like new devices acquired from users online n offline
eBay.com is well known for refurbished phones, manufactures do sell new devices as refurbished there, here all are pre-owned. You may sometimes get a better phone, sometimes a bad phone

At the same price there are many new phones available of other brand. Why you want to go refurbished?

Yeah it’s a bit shady the item description. But still you are getting it for like 9000 with coupons, as long as you are not gonna use this as your primary phone I would go with it. But before purchasing, message the seller, and take confirmation from him that the GST invoice would reflect six months manufacturer warranty, and if there is any usage marks on the device you would return it. If he agrees then order only.

Dude I don’t frequent eBay any more, remember a few like shabber etc. who used to sell boxed pack imported devices, with seller warranty though but I don’t know what happens there any more.

But still look at the joining date of seller, older the better, obviously feedback rating and preferred that the seller is with a store along with Top rated label. If all those check out only then one should go forward LoL.
