all chinese devices collects data and sends to china’s servers.
That’s standard practice. Every phone manufacturer has full access of what we do on their phones and their phones send our data to company servers located in their country. They even have access to our passwords that we type on their keyboards.
- iPhone sends data to US to Apple servers.
- Samsung phone sends data to South Korean to Samsung’s servers and to US to Google servers.
- Xiaomi phone sends data to China to Xiaomi servers and to US to Google servers.
- Blackberry sends data to Canada to Blackberry servers.
Manufacturer apps have special access to the system partition so we can’t really turn off access to their apps.
If you are using a cell phone then you don’t have any privacy. You are already transmitting enough personal data whether you like it or not. And you can’t do a thing about it.
Worried about privacy? Stop using a cell phone and use a landline.
Using a landline is obviously not gonna happen!
Hence it boils down to with which country(Servers), you can share your data!
Had heard government once denied all army officials from using chineese company’s manufactured mobile! (Not sure if this was true tho)
Root your phone. Install xprivacy.
Its not just about phones we aee using , its about APPS. also that we are using.
We knowingly or unknowingly give apps permission which are not even required for the app. , and its about how apps can missuse them
Don’t just blindly give all permissions.
.
In Xiaomi phones you will find many strange apps with most of the permissions..
There is some authorization and revokation option also in settings, but that doesn’t work!
