Hii guys.
As seeing the vulnerability I am thinking of taking Covid-19 insurance.
But I am confused which one to choose.
One I am considering is Airtel Bharti-AXA with premium of ₹499 sum insured is ₹25000 if tested positive and 50%(₹12500) if quarantined.
Is this the right choice.
So please shed some light on the topic and help me and others to choose the best one.
Thanks in advance.

If not affected, you pray to God for protecting you and carry on with your life.

Insurance is there to protect you financially. Physical aur mentally protected rehne ke liye aap khud jimedar ho with help of doctors and grace of bhagwan. Din bhar khali pade hue logon ne 5 min thali baja bhi li toh kya bigad gaya.

Why don’t u follow other posts before posting a new one. Other day, i saw a post on discussions related with same query. Someone posted a reply saying he is an insurance agent, recently somebody claimed with a hospital bill around few lakhs. So all these bullshit airtel plans are useless. Infact, i just read an article, it says hospitals are overcharging etc etc., you can search the post right away.

@Ash instead of CVOID policy you should search for bank tie ups Mediclaim like PNB, Syndicate, BOB, IOB, TMB are few they cover Mediclaim in group health policy at low premium.

Shit policy
Everyone has similar tnc attached to their policies
I mean…unless you’re planning to do inter-state travel right now to certain states like Karnataka where hospital/institutional quarantine is mandatory…whats the use of these shit policies when even home quarantine isn’t eligible for any claim?
+ Getting tested positive via any private labs..means no claim/50% (Certified ICMR hospitals/labs is a must)
+ Don’t think you can claim the room rent if you’re asymptomatic and got subjected to mandatory institutional quarantine (Heard state/central govts are fixing a ~1000rs charge for hotel stay per day for 14 days)
Also in many countries..Govt is suggesting Home-quarantine to many positive patients if the symptoms aren’t severe.. worthless again if this happens
Feeling sad for those people who opted for these shit policies without even reading/understanding the policy https://cdn0.desidime.com/attachments/photos/616501/original/Screenshot_20200512-112446.jpg?1589263267

Check Corona kavach & corona Rakshak policy of any insurance company.

Good thing is its policy wording is design by IRDA. So, insurance company can’t excuse shitty reasons to reject claim.
