My friend bought a LYF (Death) mobile and it exploded within 2 month of usage. Seems, they are really offering exploding plans and mobiles. I asked him (out of curiosity) what kind of downloading he was doing for this to happen. He said, just normal stuff Movies, Games, Porn, Youtube etc.
Be cautioned on mobile heating bcz of massive downloading and connecting too many devices. We all know these phone are just Chinese crap, this was inevitable.
OMG! Did you Report to them on Twitter?
Will have to increase the distance the phone is placed to me. As of now Using it only as HotSpot for Most of the Time, Placed near to the Iron Window on Charging most of the Time!
For calls using a Wireless Logitech Bluetooth On-Ear headset with Mic.
Suggestion to heavy users, never place your Lyf phones under pillow/ In your Pocket or any place where they might generate lot of heat.
And use good Bluetooth device for Voice Calls
Edited! Thanks missed out important point.
That is what we can expect. If you pay peanuts, you get only monkeys. 😂 😃 😄

Lol I agree with Youtube videos, movies and songs but po**rn is not normal stuff.
For the BUTTERFLYBOY who says, Porn is not normal stuff, I guess you really have some issues that are needed to be sorted out sooner than ever, even earlier than LYF phone issues.

I thought you were already smarter than that, since it was from the start a no brainier that more cheap an battery operated electronic item, more caution is always expected.
You have been warned now, don’t always keep ON the charger, switch it off for 1 hour on regular intervals, it is an very small effort to pay. These are not networking routers or hubs, they are just “normal” mobile phones.

I found this sponsored content on one of the ad networks.
I am now feeling proud for myself to have bought the JioFi device, though I know it is also not anywhere a product by Apple Inc. but you never heard an hotspot bursting. Still, I kept the CPU cooler fan infront of it to always maintain its temperature.
Motabhai should provide an explosion proof box, to keep the mobile

Wrong suggestion.
Right one is here.
Don’t keep the phone in the pocket. Else you might have to wipe out your hands with few very most important things. 😞 😟 😠 😡 😢
Just so you know exploding batteries are pretty common, even for the likes of Apple & Sammy

But Reliance will never recall its mobile. Also, I know there have been reports of other biggies mobile turning into Diwali crackers but they didn’t just under 2 months of usage.
So when are you buying a LYF mobile?

The context was totally different and reading your comment with that notion is making a very shocking meaning…

Why would I buy LYF when I have RN3?
Recall is a safety measure, not every SN7 is faulty but Samsung may just replace all of them, or their battery at least. As for Reliance, if you have a LYF handset under warranty try to get it checked &/or changed, btw we had no recalls for exploding Mi phones either.

You did a good thing here. Also, I will say, that keep the back cover of phone always open. Use some cello tape to keep battery in place. Just an suggestion.
