The card gets activated once you send them a sms “ACT GC00XXXXXX” to +91222200566 or you can write an email to [email protected] to get that activated.
Card activation takes maximum of 48 hours, however they process the request very soon i.e next day after 4-8pm.
card activation gets delayed as on 29th August & my guess is due to Mumbai Floods.
Overall a very good card can than youfirst rupay card however convenience charges are levied on wallet transactions
OTP comes on time and not that much delay like Rupay cards

Card activation takes anytime between 1-4 days to get activated. The worst irony of this card is that most websites do not identify this as a rupay card and there are several issues in terms of receiving OTP’s. Either the OTP will get delayed or OTP comes ones transaction times out.
The irony is that some sites do not redirect it to OTP page and declines the transaction. Do not use this card in Paytm as you might be landing in trouble. Money will get deducted and credit reverse back takes anytime between 0-120 Hours.

Thought we get this card by combining it with mobikwik offer, it’s still an useless card because you need to wait for more than 7-10 business days just for an activation.
This card works on all sites and there are no transaction fees or convenience fees. However note you need to activate the card before use as its not like ITZ card which comes preactivated.
You need to go to http://activation.giftcardsin...in and enter your reference number that you get along with the card.
The reference number can be identified below the bar code which is printed on the letter. Once you go to the registration site, enter the reference number and input the OTP you get in your mobile number. It redirects to a page where it says activate. Click on the Activate button which eventually sends an alert to the activation team.
You can see your status of the card activation at http://activation.giftcardsin...in by putting your reference number.
You can also download the app ticket India once the card gets activated. This app will show the available balance and card details.

Yes there are surcharges levied while using it on petrol bunks.
Ticket compliments Max Gift card are worst card.
Best cards are youfirst BOI & RuPay card.
first choice is Youfirst BOI visa card & 2nd choice is youfirst RBL RuPay card.
Both are best for me bcoz i get every time RuPay card otp within a sec & no failed transaction yet.
just avoid to use youfirst RuPay card on paytm & phonepe app. otherwise RuPay giftcards are best.
One more thing, Activation timing both are same. sometimes take 1 day or sometimes 4days to activate youfirst BOI & RuPay card.
My BOI cards activation still pending, send activation request on 28th aug, 2017.
Good to know. However I suppose activation is pending due to Mumbai floods. Even RBL bank messaged me saying activation or clearance will take sometime due to Mumbai floods.
I have one query – will youfirst be making any money and profits by selling these cards?

My Rbl card was not activated since a week. But I just tried using it and it worked (got otp on my phone)
RBL cards are activated with max of 48 hours excluding saturday and sunday. There is no activation messages sent to us.
Worst part on RBL rupay card, we didn’t get the info of remaining balance…BOI visa are best to work without any hassle.. unlike Ticket compliments Amazon not supported

I already got activation sms – any benefits to register? For eg, being able to change PIN?

Rupay cards activated on the same day! I got rbl rupay cards from shopclues yesterday morning and I placed activation request through mail by noon, they were activated @ night as I used them successfully 
guess rupay cards are finally getting proper attention… Also transaction failure rate is very low for me as my first purchases were 2 weeks post it’s launch when ppl here were already loosing hopes on this card for good, but so far they are very useful of course we cannot compare them with boi ones but they did offer better discounts for this one
PS- I have made this habit to mail both fin.ops and gprcard for activation
I loaded 5000 Amazon pay money to get cashback. Now when I am trying to purchase boi card, Amazon is not giving me option to buy the card using Amazon money. It just says my gift card balance (approx 400) cannot be applied but no mesg or info on amazon money as if it does not exist. I thought we can use amazon money without any restrictions? Anything i am doing wrong?

I have made a transaction of Rs.5000 in Payzapp using Youfirst-BOI visa card
The money got debited from BOI card but not credited to Payzapp
Will I get the credit of 5k automatically into BOI card or do I need to follow up..?

In my case when payment failed on payzapp…I got the money back to BOI card itself before 5 days
