This is with respect to my cousin who is a 9th Grade going student. A packet in his name was delivered to him (please see the pic). Since he was not present at the time of delivery, chacha ji, mistakenly, paid the COD amount thinking that he must have ordered something and kept the package as it is (didn’t open). But when he returned from the school, he told he hadn’t ordered anything. And when he opened the package to know what it is (as nothing could be done now when payment was already done so why not just check it out), ofcourse everyone got shocked.
Anyway, we all made peace with it thinking that some friend of his must have done this mischief, and thus forgot.

Recovering from this incident, we got a package AGAIN today (I have attached the pictures). Now, this doesn’t seem right. I think some gang might be at work, instead of his friend. Ofcourse we didn’t accept today’s shit.

Since the first incident, I have tried via phone/email to contact Snapdeal to get it sorted, but to no success. Automated answers – There’s no recent order from the calling number and the call gets disconnected.
I also called the seller and he said he doesn’t have customers details who order.

Anyone experienced this? Any other way to contact snapdeal?

I’m pretty sure some friend/s of your cousin is doing this. I any case, find that friend and make him wear the panty. He’ll stop.

Ask SD to mention the IP address which was used to place the order. They’ll say though, that for customer privacy and protection they are not able to provide that, just say to them that you haven’t ordered it, nor did anyone from your family, so this is a suspicious order, therefore, you’ll be reporting to police, and will mention that you people (Snapdeal) hasn’t cooperated in the matter, which also concerns your security.

I’m not able to talk to any customer care guy. I get automated answers. There’s no option to talk to a real person. That is the problem. Though I’m communicating via email but it hasn’t been effective.

@BublleBoyChickenLittle will urgly suggets you to do complaint in cyber cell .
Two reasons :
1) they have already have your cousin’s data . Snapdeal’s highest action will be a sorry letter, refund and 100rs. GV . Don’t expect other justice action from them . if it was Amazon then may be some more action taken.

2) If it’s a gang of spammers than guess they are doing with anyone . They can send wrong things to girls and that will be more shamefull than your once. They are jobless , senseless.


And cyber cell is not rude as normal police . They will don’t waste your time and energy by calling out everyday.

Still I don’t know your position, region , age. So do action as per your situation..

They said someone checked out in guest mode and put your number in the order. Is it possible? I don’t think there is any guest checkout in snapdeal?

So the email address, any idea whose it is?
