Should I buy extended warranty for VU 50 inch tv?

Hi guys,
want your honest reviews whether to purchase the extended warranty for the VU TV i just purchased.
Do VU TV’s have a good life, can it sustain for long life?
Jeeves (Flipkart Installation Partner) is saying to extend it. 2 years from ₹1930.

Warranty just covers the manufacturing defect. I don’t think so if the TV works fine for 1year (i.e under standard warranty) will have any sort of manufacturing defect.
So in my opinions don’t purchase extended warranty.
You may purchase insurance rather than extended warranty.
