Should I update my HDFC credit card

If your spends are >1lac in a year then go for upgrade.
Lounge access extra in Regalia First.
IMO, better to upgrade as in the long run you can upgrade to premium cards like diners, infinia…

I am thinking of applying for another card and have yearly spends of around 1 lac. So its very probable that I will have to pay 1000 for regalia every year. Is it worth in that case? @caks2006407 @Rdb1947 @asen

Go for it with eyes closed. Better in all aspects.

How do you get to know that its 1000 and not life time free? Does it say first year free only on the upgrade page?

i thought you could add a biller in smartuy or take an add on card and make it ltf

i got my moneyback upgraded to regalia first for LTF and going to hold it so that i can upgrade to Regalia soon.

i don’t know, i had no intention of upgrading than suddenly started getting calls from HDFC for free upgrade and they would mention that in every conversation so at last i upgraded to get rid of that, two months later now i am getting calls to increase cc limit.

After how much time HDFC offers card upgrade as i am using it since 9 months didnt get either limit enhancement or card upgrade
