Soon after the executive order — “Securing the Information and Communications Technology and Services Supply Chain” — was signed, the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) of the Department of Commerce announced that it will be adding Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd and its affiliates to its Entity List.

Huawei/ ZTE are the largest backend support (components and services as well) for almost all American Tech Products. Blacklisting them is like asking for bribe to move the files in our Indian system.. can’t ask directly.. so all this drama! I won’t be surprised to see additional licences for companies to adhere to these norms. EOD it’s business, pure business!! sweat_smile
