Which mattress to use in summer

I have centuary coir and foam matress. I would like to know when to use the coir side abd when to use the foam side?? According to seasons.

Lol the coir is the base and foam is the top its not a 2 in 1 mattress.
Coir Side – Summer
Foam Side – Winter
Most mattress tend to heat up during the summer become uncomfortable to sleep. But the latex mattress will continue being comfortable in all climates. This mattress will have the excellent air circulation which keep you cooler. So it has the ability to work in different seasons. Latex mattress is best for restless summer nights.

Latex mattress is very expensive.
If there’s no AC in room, i always prefer to sleep on the ground in summer

The mattress made of synthetic material makes you feel warm and you can’t get good sleep. I suggest you to try out natural latex mattress which perform better on breathability and makes you feel cool and comfortable for whole night. Coir mattress is good for all seasons.
for most parts (unless living outside Bharat).. normal rui ka gadda is all that we ever used.
desi ‘mattress’ made out of cotton (cotton quality, grade as per availability, affordability).
have had to go for pinjwana (ginning) when/if the cotton got too old or lumpy.

otherwise, showing it some strong sunlight for 2-3 days each side, is all that was needed.
of-course elsewhere the standardisation of bed sizes and corresponding readymade mattresses and unavailability of options made one stick with those.

have people stopped using cotton (or wahtever scrap 🤣or seconds they fill) mattresses in most urban areas¡!¿i wonder

in our homes we preferred the thinner the better (for health) option and sleeping on direct floor (chataai, dating.. mat) as spoken above by few.

I would swear by memory foam with cooling gel at any time of the day. It is one man-made product that makes your body feel like sleeping on a chilled cloud on a summer day. Keeps you damn comfy throughout the night. Some ten years back, I would have recommended latex or coir but now I only recommend memory foam with cooling gel.

Sleeping on the bare floor is the best during summers
just sleep on the terrace or lay down in the bathtub during summers…. that will suffice 
Are there 2 sides in your Centuary mattress? I doubt it. A coir mattress have coir in the base. The foam is the top layer of the mattress. A coir mattress cannot be turned over. I have a Kurlon which is a coir mattress. The base is too firm for sleeping. I have searched and found this site – https://matxprt.com/which-side-of-mattress-is-u.... They also confirms that a coir mattress cannot be turned over.
you can use latex mattresses.. they work like charm.. only drawback is they are expensive.
