Hi,

Yes bank is offering my Yes Prosperity Edge credit card LTF. (https://www.yesbank.in/personal-banking/yes-ind...)

Please advise if this the best card for online shopping. I do most of my shopping online, about 10K per month.
Or should I choose some other variant? Also, share your experience about their billing & customer care.

The bank sales person told me something strange ‘5% cashback on fuel purchase’. Something I couldn’t believe. Is it even possible?

Since you said most of your spends are online, sbi simply click is the best one here, Considering reward points.

Reg the 5% fuel cashback it was there till May 31. haven’t received any extension of that offer post may.
I have the same card, nothing great to talk about except for lounge access and being ltf. Recently they restarted spend based voucher offers which might add some shine to these yes bank cards.

Insist on getting their yes first range of cards as they will have better reward rates compared to prosperity cards.

Don’t go with Yes Bank. Their credit cards are good for nothing.
All rounder for credit cards are HDFC and SBI.

this is the only reason i am keeping my Yes First card.
1. LTF
2. at times (read only at times) offers are released.

So, I don’t need to worry much about card variant, as it will be used for occasional offers.
I am going to ignore the RPs.

Ignore Yes’s RP. They were devalued recently as well.
The only plus point for its RP is that they never expire.

Do you think Paytm MobiKwik wallet loadings are eligible for online spends 5x rewards ? With SBI  simply click….

With Amazon pay loading, not eligible for 10x rewards.

Where as SBI Ola is eligible for 1% on all transactions (including wait loadings)

Sbi simply click won’t give reward points for wallet loads – found it in their website I guess.
Not sure of amazon pay wallet load as I haven’t loaded, but read somewhere in forums that people are getting 10x for amazon

You can always buy Amazon GC’s and then add to account to get 10X rewards from SBI Click.

SimplyCLICK gives 5x RPs for wallet loading. I am using it since August last year and have been getting RPs for everytime I load either PayTm or MobiKwik wallet. For AmazonPay also they give 5x RPs. For shopping in Amazon it’s 10×.

That should be used as last resort as you can always find sellers on the forum selling AGCs at 2.5% to 3% discount. 10x RPs also don’t make better than 2.5% as we can pay these sellers via PayTm and can load PayTm wallet using SimplyCLICK card and still earn 5× RPs.

Yes, but I use when I have to meet the milestone of 1L online spends to get annual fees waived and Cleartrip 2K voucher. So that makes it more than 2.5%.

Then it would make sense.

Not a yes bank customer.
I found that caller was from not the bank but some sales company. I refused then.
I avoid such people.
