Dude, is it applicable for other cities as well? I too bought some vouchers and would like to use them at this time. Thanks
not sure
you can check by calling the store which you want to visit.
Number can be found here :

btw……if you are a First Citizen card holder , you should have received email about the sale starting dates.
In case not received any email , you should make a complain and will start receiving in the future.

Thanks will do that. I just enrolled in the 1st Citizen program a month back. Am getting the mails but haven’t got any on the sale part. Will call and check. Thanks
Shopped for Rs.7000 today. All paid using GV’s. Good sale was mainly at Children’s section specially Mothercare. Everything I purchased was having 51% off. I am a golden glow member now so got additional 5% off
@jackal…….If you shop during the period exclusively for First Citizen members , you will have to give your First Citizen card. But if you shop later and pay by GV’s , you will not get any points in your First Citizen card ( you get points only when you pay by cash or credit card ) and person at the counter may just tell you that card is not required as you wouldn’t get the points. But still insist to enter your card details Because that will take your shopping into account of gross shopping and help you reach Golden glow status which I guess is Rs.40000 lifetime shopping ( long way but everything adds up ).
does the same apply to Pantaloons
AFAIK
GV & sale promotions can’t be used at the same time

No idea about Pantaloons.
btw…….In Shoppersstop , GV & sale promotions can be used together. GV has got nothing to
do with SALE. Only thing is when you pay your Bill through GV’s ( no matter during sale or no sale ) ,
you do not accrue points in your First Citizen card.
hmmm
interesting interesting

Usa bro, thanks for this update. I paid and got this card on a purchase from Mothercare only last month. Actually in my case, I paid my entire purchase of ~Rs. 2100 bucks by GVs only. And they even updated these points on my card. I received my first statement 2 days back by mail and it says I have 70 points. So I’m kinda confused as to why u mentioned about the points accruing when the payment is by cash / CC. AFAIK it is applicable to GVs also

as far as I recall , 70 points are given on start FOC ( actually as a start up credits towards the amount you have paid for the card )
I am 100% sure that you do not accrue points when you pay by GV’s. ( member since more than 18 months now )
Oh…ok dint know these about the startup credit. I was assuming the points accrue for GVs also. Then I guess I just blew my 200 bucks on the First Citizen card. Coz I aint intend shopping by anything there other than GVs Have a few of them now that I got through the tradus deal last year at a 30% discount. Will use them.
But yes, will adhere to what u mentioned. That of asking the counter guy to key in my card details even if paying by GV so that the cumulative shopping amount on the card increases Many thanks for mentioning this. Cheers mate
Wonderful information….will be visiting SS over the weekend to check out the best offers. Mostly interested in apparels and perfumes. Any specific brands to look for?

you can salvage something in parking charges as it’s free for FC card holders if they buy something.
Cheers
