tried twice, payment failed for some reason and got redirected to Google. waiting for a while to cancel and place the order.

The most worst thing with the Bigbasket is, if we cancel at the gateway or any payment failure, order becomes COD (without user permission) even if we do not select COD option

And we need to call bigbasket (not toll free) and need to wait for them to get connected during only their timings 10AM to 10PM and need to tell them the story why we need cancellation, email communication is very slow (takes a day or two)

No bro. There is option of manual cancelation in the app itself. U dont need to call.. U can cancel any COD order after 15 mins of placing the order from the customer service section without giving any reason in written..
