I got to ad fro for 10k per head from Hyderabad in Feb 2017 on Paytm. They had 50% cash back for flights to Kuala Lumpur so made separate booking to get 50% off from Hyderabad to Kuala Lumpur and Bali to Kuala Lumpur. Then 30% cash back via another offer they had for flight from Kuala Lumpur to Bali and Kuala Lumpur to Hyderabad. Overall cost me 10k per head for 4 tickets.

Even now you get cheap offers if you have an option of travelling from Vishakhpatnam or Bhubaneswar. Make to and fro reservations to KL first at around 7.5k on many dates and from KL make another return journey ticket reservation to Bali which costs around 4.5k per head. As such, if you reach KL you have many cheap options to nearby places, Phuket is just 2k or less for round trip from KL.
